Concerned about battery

I bought this two weeks ago. The battery seems to discharge to quickly, like two to three hours of use. I've seen here, not in my paperwork, that it should last 8 hours at a normal volume although I don't see how volume should effect battery life. I expected it to play louder. I plan to check my actual time before calling.

I LOVE MY BOSE

I truly love my Bose product. I received my SoundLink for Christmas and have not stopped using it yet. I take my Bose literally everywhere I go. I have even gone as far as purchasing one to raffle off so we can help raise money towards our booster club.

I have read a lot of the reviews and I am shocked to see any negative reviews this speaker is great! I love it . I have had this speaker since it first came out last year and as of now I have yet to have any issues. sound is great I have no problems pairing or charging it . A coworker even went to go buy one after they heard mine playing at work it's a great size and a great price I love my Bose speaker .

The Firmware update WORKS !

Shut off mid use. quick google search brought me here. downloaded the updater. Hooked up SLC to usb. Updated. Took 2 mins.

So far okay

I bought this little speaker to use outside our RV. It says you can use up to 30ft. with bluetooth, we are barely getting 10ft! We have it on our counter and our phone or laptop is within 10ft. If I move the speaker it is sporadic or you hear nothing.

Thank you for the review. We appreciate the feedback. The range on the SoundLink Color is up to 30 feet, but a lot of factors can affect that including interference from other devices. Using it outside the RV such as you are, it sounds like you should be getting more than the range you are describing. One thing to try is to reset the SoundLink by turning it on and holding the AUX and Volume - buttons for 10-20 seconds, until a tone is heard.
If the above suggestion does not work, there are some other troubleshooting steps to try. We would like to help you with that. We have sent an email to find out more. Good speaker

I bought my Bose speaker in November 2014 for portability, I really like it but not happy with the metal piece on the USB charging cable. It's flimsy and I'm now searching for a replacement. I have the Bose Soundlink and the charging pieces for it seem to be more sturdy.

Great Sound

I bought this as a gift for my daughter a year ago, holy cow, it is an awesome little speaker. I take it to my garage when she's not around. I'm very happy with the speaker, it did fall or was dropped which cracked the case but it has had no negative effect on sound or controls, very durable. The volume is great and the music I play is clear. Rock, Grunge and Country.
