Well made speaker that holds up!

I bought this speaker about a month ago and I am completely satisfied. Bose sound quality is just fantastic and this little speaker is no exception. The thing can take a beating and still sounds great. I've had no issues connecting any of my various devices to it and always found it generally easy to use. Pros: 1) My 2 year old nephew plays with the speaker and has even dropped it a few times, but it still sounds and looks new. 2) The sound quality and volume is unrivaled by any other speaker of a similar size. 3) The battery life is great. 4) This speaker is ridiculously light, I hardly notice when I'm carrying it. Cons: 1) This speaker isn't as highly stylized as other Bose products and isn't recognizably Bose. 2) The speaker doesn't come with a case other than the box it comes in. 3) The Speaker has a relatively small sound space. Bottom Line: This is a great product that I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a nice, high quality speaker.

Love this little speaker!

I bought two of these and I love the sound and portability of it. A couple of suggestions would be: It would be nice to be able to name them so that I know which one is which as I have one at each home and the laptop is the one who travels between homes. Both devices show as Bose Color SoundLink. Also when I am listening on my iPad its annoying to hear my song interrupted by the announcement that my laptop is disconnected from the speaker. Thanks!

Superior sound quality

my husband just gave me this amazing little speaker for my birthday-at my request of course! I LOVE IT! Not only is it stylish but the sound quality and ease of use is a 10! I actually danced around the house with it jamming to a little Frank Sinatra (I'm 42 and love some good classics!) it's been 2 days but as always with Bose - I'm loving my new product! Always and forever a Bose girl! Thank you Bose for such a great little product!

It just dead

I bought this product on July 22nd. Loved it when it worked. Yesterday it ran out of battery,i've tried to recharge it withthe cord from Bose-not working so i tried other several cords and plugs, still no sign of live. When trying to connect via USB to update software, nothing happened. What should i do?

Got this for Christmas and have been thoroughly enjoying it ever since. Allows me take everything I have on my iPhone with me and fill the area with rich sound (outdoor photoshoots, deck parties.

I love my Bose!

My son bought me this unit a year ago for Christmas and it is phenomenal, so phenomenal I let go of my stereo. All my music is now on my ipod or phone or I stream radio stations 24/7. Ah, such ease and such wonderful sound! Highly recommend this unit!

Loved it until...I didn't

My Mom gave me this as a gift about a year ago. I loved it when I first got it. I was able to move into any room in my house to have a traveling sound system. It was easy to use and the sound quality was great. However, about a month ago the speaker became unable to hold a charge. I have to leave it plugged in to be able to use it, which defeats the purpose of a portable speaker. I have left it plugged into power for 12 hours in order to allow it to fully charge, and no luck. I unplug it and it dies within minutes. I am really disappointed. This was my first Bose product, and it will probably be my last. Way to much money on something that only worked for a year.

We'd be disappointed too. The Soundlink Color was designed to provide great sound, be simple to use and easy to take along. This is the experience that we want you to have and we'd like to help you.
Let's begin by examining the charging cord to be sure there are no damages. Next we can reset the speaker by turning the speaker on, then pressing and holding the AUX and Volume - buttons for 10-20 seconds, until a tone is heard. Turn the speaker on and verify your language selection. This will also be a good time to visit our software update site at:
updates.Bose.com/SoundLinkColor
to be certain you have the most recent software.

Expanded my music and audio enjoyment times 10

I received this for my birthday from my wonderful husband. Can't believe how easy it was to set up with my IPhone. Being so small with a BIG sound I can take it anywhere and everywhere. Now no matter where I go I can listen to music now. I have tons of songs loaded on my IPhone but the volume of my phone is so low that I could only listen to the music in my car. Now I can listen to it anywhere. Thank you Bose!
