Battery Needs to be replaced after very limited us

Great sound; wonderful connectivity but the battery already needs replacement and I think it's been used maybe 20 hours. The device works only when plugged in. Extremely disappointed. Do not recommend.

Thank you for your review we appreciate the feedback very much. I'm terribly sorry you've had such a poor experience with the battery life on your SoundLink Color speaker. I can certainly understand your concern, you should not be having that type of issue. However, we have seen certain battery problems affecting a small number of units. For that reason our engineering team has released a software update that will resolve this problem permanently. I have included a link below to the software download page. Sometimes it won't turn on... :-(

I really enjoy my Bose speaker but there are times it won't even turn on. I can't figure out the issue. Even my software is up to date :-/

Sounds good but I was expecting more

I bought this speaker today, it sounds good but I was actually expecting something more after reading all the good comments, a friend have the jbl flip 2 and it's a lot louder than this, that was a little bit disappointing considering this is a more expensive speaker. Now I'm considering to sell this and buy a jbl flip 2 o 3 for what I've read it's a lot better than 2.

Hello Fabyan. Thank you for the review. We appreciate the feedback. The SoundLink Color is by far our most portable Bluetooth speaker, but for the most volume we would recommend our SoundLink III which delivers the most volume as well as the longest battery life (Up to 14 hours).

Great Little Speaker!

I ordered this and it arrived yesterday! I LOVE IT. Great rich sound!
The sound is very good and I if I use my iTunes. I can't say the same when using Pandora, it just doesn't work.

As the speaker is not able to distinguish between audio sources itself, it appears that something in the audio source is affecting your ability to enjoy Pandora. As it is a streaming service, a good place to start would be the quality of your wifi or cellular signal. Another step worth taking would be uninstalling the app and reinstalling it to ensure that there are no issues with the version on your device. The sound quality of this speaker was poor. Considering it's Bose it was surprisingly poor. I returned it and replace it with the Mini II Speaker which is incredible. Pay the extra and go for the Mini II.

Big sound in a small package!

I've had for almost a year now and every where i take it friends family... even strangers are so impressed with the sound, even more so when i tell them the price. And now its even cheaper. Well worth the money But what else would you expect from Bose. I would recommend to any one as a gift or personal use.

It's a Freakin' Bose!

I got my Soundlink Color in Engineer Red a few months ago. I love the sound quality. I didn't expect full spectrum sound from such a small speaker. But what can I say? It's a Freakin' Bose! It pairs easily and connects every time I walk into my office. The battery life is impressive as well. Then last week I was forced to confront the possibility that Bose had let me down in the area of durability/longevity. Out of the blue, I couldn't connect. I tried several times to clear the device list and pair my phone to the Soundlink Color, but I couldn't establish a successful connection. So, I came to the Bose website to investigate the return policy. While here I decided to look at the reviews to see if mine was a common problem. It was in doing this that I discovered another way Bose is uniquely awesome. They respond to reviews. And these aren't empty "your opinion is important to us" responses. They actually offer possible solutions to problems people are having with their products. I followed the instructions for resetting my Soundlink Color and in less than a minute I can enjoy my music my way - played through a freakin' Bose. So while having a problem might justify a half star deduction, I'd say the "answer before I ask" technical support more than makes up the deduction. So there you have it 5 1/2 stars because - It's a Freakin' Bose!
