What a speaker!!

Had this speaker for my birthday and after a couple of week of use I can say that it's been the best gift that I received. The sound is great and clear, I use to carry it around my house while is connect to my iPhone, it's compact, great material (as always) and light. I love my Soundlink Color!!

Worthless

Wasted money? The battery life is no longer than 2 hours and the charging port gets loose so good luck recharging it. Severely disappointed!

Musical!

To my ears, the latest update latest update improved the speaker by 80%. It got rid of most of the upper bass drone and improved improved the midrange. This little speaker does a good job of imparting the emotional aspect of the music. Battery life has been excellent compared to both my JBL Flip 1 & 2. I carry it with me and use it every day. It is about 4 months old...well past the breaking period. The pairing works well with my iPhone 5 and iPad Air 2. Thank you.

Amazing sound for such a lightweight thing!

I've just bought it at the airport, because another speaket didn't connect to my Note 5. I knew that Bose ok to my phone. That model was cheapest of Bose. I was really impressed when I turned in on my backyard. Like a real orchestra was there with me. Incredible sound for it's weight! I also travel a lot working on a cruise ship, so i needed something compact and light. I'm very happy with my choise. Bose soundlink mini is much havier, i had it before.

This product was given to me, as a gift, by some one who has the product for themselves and they decided to gave it me as a gift. I'm very impressed with the SoundLink speaker and it's reasonably priced.

Great until it stopped working completely

You should be getting great sound and up to 8 hours from the battery at typical listening volume. Also, the system has a one-year warranty. One thing that may help with the power issues is to update the software. Loved it, until it stopped working

I bought this about 2 months ago and loved it...the sound quality, the range, the look. Now I can't charge it either through the computer or from an outlet. There's no sign of any activity. The only light I get is blinking red after I unplug it.

Thank you for letting us know about this issue. We definitely want you to have the ability to charge the speaker, that is one of the main benefits of owning the Color speaker.
We have some suggestions. One would be to reset the speaker. Pressing and holding the AUX and Volume - buttons for 10-20 seconds, until a tone is heard, will accomplish this.
There is also a software update for this speaker at http://updates.bose.com/SoundLinkColor
This speaker also uses a standard micro USB charging connection common to non-Apple smartphones/tablets as well as many digital cameras and E-readers. Let's try another cable and see if that might be the issue.
