The gameplay is amazing. You can tell the difference between a game like this and a multi-platform game. This game was made for the wii. During gameplay, you start not to care about the graphics. This is a great game, I still play it. It is sometimes difficult to figure out what to do, but that makes it better when you figure it out. There is one part with a fairy princess in a cave that takes forever to beat. It's optional...after beating it, I don't know if it was worth it. It might have been helpful before I beat the game, though.
What's great about it: Large story, huge maps to explore
What's not so great: No save after end game, graphics

For any fan of Zelda, this game is AWESOME. The formula works even better on the Wii and the fact that the controller puts you in the action/ character...what can be said?
Is this game 'ground breaking'? No, of course not. Other than the controller, this game uses the same tested formula for gaming goodness. But really...how many games out there are breaking new ground? Other than phenomenal graphics (PS3)...the games are using 'tried and true' formulas (Anyone who claims that Heavenly Sword is revolutionary...go back to sleep...It is merely a prettier version of the God of War genre).
If you enjoy a game that takes some hand/ eye coordination and brain power...Zelda is for you.
What's great about it: If you love Zelda....you will love this game
What's not so great: If you want a quick or easy game...this is not it

This may make me a little partial to Zelda in general but I have been playing Zelda games since the very first one in 1986, so to say the least I LOVE ZELDA! But if the game sucked I would still tell you!! I'm no where near finishing this game but what I have played so far I like allot! This is an all around good game. It has a good story line; the game play is challenging but not to challenging and it makes you think. The only thing that I don’t care for is during the storylines throughout the game you have to read everything........it doesn’t have voice overs like PS3 and 360 games. I still like the game allot and I suggest buying it!!!!
What's great about it: The storyline, game play, challenge

This is by far my favorite Wii game to date! I actually waited in line at Best Buy in the freezing cold for hours the morning the Wii was released just so I could play this game! The only problem was my husband and I argued over who got to play it first when I got home with the Wii that morning. I WON! One of my favorite Zelda's is the Ocarina of Time, and this has a vey similar structure. What makes this one so amazing is the controls. Swinging the remote to swing your sord brings the fun of Zelda to a hole new level. The wii controller is by far one the most comfy controllers ever and put tthat together with one of the best video game series ever and you simply can't go wrong! I think most Zelda fans will not be dissapionted, this one sure wasn't!

this was the first game i bought for the wii system, I loved it, hard game to put down. The story line was awesome and the the game play utilized many of the cool features i new the wii could handle. link learns new tricks throughout the game and battles new monsters, great game, I just had a hard time when fishing, but eventually got the hang of it
What's great about it: great use of the wii remote, huge stages, great one player game
What's not so great: some stages can get repetitive with link constantly running around the same areas

Really fun game. Takes a little while to get through some puzzles, but that's half the fun. Of course, when I got stuck fishing for an hour unable to hook anything, I had considerable frustration. FYI, you have to yank the remote not just a little, but a lot. I mean go from point it at the screen to pointing it straight up at the ceiling as fast as you can. Then you'll hook a fish. It's not quite the Ocarina of Time, but all in all a very fun adventure through light and darkness.
What's great about it: You waive your sword; you can be a wolf
What's not so great: the little shadow is annoying; fishing is ill-described
