To be perfectly frank, this is one of, if not the best, game that I have ever played.
What's great about it: Cinematics, Gameplay, Character Development
What's not so great: American Voiceacting, Phenomes

THE game to own on the PS3

This is THE game to own for the Playstation 3. I've been waiting for this game for awhile now and I am not disappointed at all. Pre-bought this game at BestBuy to guarantee I'd have it arrive for the day of release.
What's great about it: The gameplay, graphics, story of the game
What's not so great: The weapons upgrade system takes some learning
I would recommend this to a friend!

The game is very good, just hope next time squeenix decides to go back traditional medieval times. To me FF is better with dragons and real flesh enemies instead of robots.
What's great about it: Graphics, Length of game
What's not so great: Battle system, linear exploration

I have played all of the FF series and this one to date is one of the best.
What's great about it: 1080p Graphics
What's not so great: story line sometimes can be too long between chapters

Not your normal Final Fantasy

I think that this might be my favorite Final Fantasy game to date. I like the innovative Paradigm battle system and the crystlarim leveling system. It combines what Final Fantasy X did in leveling your character and what Final Fantasy XII did in battle. A win, win for me. I can't really say that there is any negative in the game for me, although it is a bit linear for the first 20 hours. But to be honest what Final Fantasy isn't linear for the first 10-20 hours anyway. I am really enjoying this game and plan on continuing to enjoy it until completion.
What's great about it: Different and orignal battle system increase the challenge of the game while keep the rpg feel of normal Final Fantasy's
What's not so great: The story is a bit confusing until about 20 hours in into the game. Sometimes I have no idea what is going on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

FF13 excells in graphics and of course the music sticks with you. What you may notice about this game however is how linear the play is. There is one way through it and that is it. Not to mention the fact that... despite the captivating mystery surrounding the story in how their lives intertwine, you may easily finish the first 80% of the game by using ur right thumb to press only one button. That's still fine though because the story and mystery draws you in, up until the often frustrating difficulty spikes (not necessarily a bad thing... frustrating as these spikes were, I welcomed the challenge after what seemed like an easy ride through the game pressing one button... paradigms become very fun here). Overall I would recommend this game to any RPG fan (if you were a hardcore ff fan then I assume you would have already beaten it like I have). My favorite is still ff6 (ff3 in USA).
What's great about it: Mesmerizing graphics and mystery. Character development. Music.
What's not so great: Very linear play. Its possible to go through 80% of the game by pressing one button.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best game ever!!!

In my opinion, this is the best game ever created. I have NEVER seen better annimation than this game. I play world of warcraft, and this game puts it to shame, graphics wise. Its not a short game at all, will take about 70hrs and up to beat. Great story line, actually intrests me. This game is a deffinate buy. 5 stars!!!! I dont see any problem letting children to play it. Not gorey at all.
What's great about it: Best animation i have ever seen, Long game, great storyline, great for kids
What's not so great: NOTHING!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Final Fantasy Ever!!!

I thought the game was amazing. The new battle system is awesome. This game really forces you to fight with every character which is awesome, so none of your characters really get the sidelines and they are all forced to be leveled up, so you're not screwed later in the game when you need that character.
What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!
