Quality Printer

Count me among those that don't see why this printer is bad. It prints fast, supports AirPrint, no problems scanning or copying, and the print quality is excellent. Entering in the WEP is a bit of a pain with the keypad style, but that's about the only gripe I have.
For me, another quality product from Canon at a very affordable price.
Pros: reliable, High Quality Output, fast print speed
Cons: keypad needs updating

A lot of issues

The troubleshoot page should be easier
i'm disheartened by the idea that i have had the device less then a month and had to troubleshoot quiet often. Keeps telling me that i have a problem with alignment. also the printing quality is not as refined although it has the same DPI as my older pixma which i had for 7 years (amazing quality). I paid way more for this one so that i could upgrade. I am totally disappointed in this canon printer.

Worst printer EVER!

This is by far the worst printer I have ever owned. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. It is connected to the internet, but will NOT print wirelessly. I hate this printer and it was a total waste of my money! I would NEVER recommend this printer.
Pros: High Quality Output
Cons: Difficult to use, Difficult Setup, unreliable

Poor quality

Printer stopped working after 2 months. Print heads will not align. Alignment fails while print head bangs into side of printer repeatedly. Get something else.
Cons: unreliable

Drinks ink

This printer guzzles ink! I use it for 2 computers, one Mac, one PC. It constantly looses wireless contact with last computer not used for printing a job. Most distressing is the ink situation. "Low on ink" seems to be the mantra of this multifunctional unit.
Pros: durable
Cons: ink usage

A wireless printer should not be this difficult

I should not have to jump thru hoops to set up a wireless printer. It should find the modem automatically........ This printer is very poor quality also and is very slow

Fax Problems Develop Right Away

The old adage "You get what you pay for." applies to this inexpensive (cheap) all-in-one printer. The fax stops working after only a few outgoing faxes. Printer drinks ink like it is tap water. Don't use off-brand cartridges or you will awaken the fatal error demons.

Worst printer ever

I will never buy another Cannon printer. This is the most unreliable printer I have ever used. It is so slow it takes a couple of minutes to print out one sheet, if it will print at all. Do not buy one! You will wish you had spent your money somewhere else.
