Not very good

I've had this printer for about 4 months - I had a MX892 but wanted to benefits of airprint and the bigger paper tray. This printer has been a major letdown. I use it from a home office, and about ever other print job stops after 1/2 a page. I have to clear the queue, reboot the printer ,and then (sometimes) it will work.
The features of this printer are great, too bad it doesn't print.

There are things I dislike about this printer/copier/faxer, scanner but it's worth it. I love the quality of the documents and pictures that it produces.
It can be noisy by can easily be programed with a
Quiet Setting.
It seems to ruminate about things, at times mechanically checking things out and, I guess, aligning things from within being asked to.
It's big and heavy compared to other brands I have and have had printers by.
The wireless connections and scanning functions take some time to work through, and patience to put up with but they can be programmed and eventually work fine.
There is no manual provided, and there are complex series of adjustments that can be made, but again you have to be persistent, or go on the internet site (where you are now) and try out the tutorials and explanations.
...but it's worth it.
The point of a printer is to put out good quality pictures and documents, and this machine does just that, more like excellent pictures and copies. It would be 5 star if only based upon that .

Lousy printer

I purchased a Canon PIXMA MXM920, yes 920 in December and it is one of the worst purchases I've ever made. I've had more trouble with it than I can tell you. I've had another Canon printer for years and love it, but this one doesn't work more often than it does. It pauses printing for no reason and will not resume when prompted. I can't seem to get the scanner to work. Don't buy it.

good printer with quirk

Having owned the Canon Pixma mx922 for several months, I can say that it has functioned very well as a printer. I advise printing in grayscale when possible because the color cartridges run out fast. The biggest drawback is the frequent and often ridiculously long delay of "processing" time in performing a print job.

I bought it a few weeks ago and so glad I did. It was the 1st detailed printer I was able to follow simple directions to and get it set up. At present I am printing what I want and loving it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using this all in one for about a month now and it is performing flawlessly. The wireless set up was a bit tedious but it has worked perfectly. Scanning is easier than with my old machine and the paper feeder is better too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a pathetically slow, noisy, bulky printer with worst ink use. Very expensive ink. Will never buy Canon again.
