worst printer

bought this printer to be able to air print from my IPad...had tried to get my iPad to recognize this printer as AirPrint, unsuccessful since last year. Finally hired a computer guy to come to my house yesterday, he spent 2 hours trying.....gave up and told me this is a problem Canon needs to address with a update.........only way I can print is through an app or cloud.......hate this printer, would never recommend it

Wastes My Time

I spend too much time trying to this printer to work. I get error messages and have to re-install the print drivers just to get the printer to work. Very frustrating.
Would not buy this or any other Canon printer based on this experience

The Pixma922 is an excellent printer set up and I have been able to get help on the phone when problems do arise. I personally like the printer and the telephone service help by American employees

So easy to use!!

We got this to replace a all-in-one from Dell that was from 2009 that would not work right with Windows 10. This has been a dream to set up and prints beautiful pictures! I love that it has two trays, so that I can keep my photo paper loaded and regular paper..so it's always ready to go. The wi-fi works flawlessly. I followed the step by step set up directions...so easy!

When it works, it works great!

My wife is a high school teacher and uses it on a regular basis for printing all kinds of things and it works great... Except, about once a month, it says that it is being used by another user and won't let you do anything with it at all. Only one user ever uses this printer. Drivers are replaced whenever this happens and every troubleshooting step followed. Nothing works. Wait a week, and everything works fine again. I have never had this much trouble with a Canon printer, the next one probably won't be another Canon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Major headache

I have had this printer for about a year. It is usable, but it goes offline at brief, random intervals. I have deleted and reloaded the printer over and over. Last week I deleted it and reloaded it via the cd. Tonight it went offline again; troubleshooting couldn't find the problem. I attempted printing a second time and checked to make sure the printer was designated to print rather than the fax. Lo and behold, I have 4 copies of this printer in the printer selection menu (MX 920 series, MX 920 series Copy 1, MX 920 series WS, MX 920 series WS Copy1) and two MX 920 faxes. I waste hours troubleshooting this printer. NO! I would not recommended to a friend. I will say, however, regarding the complaints I've read about excess ink usage, that this printer is average on that point.

Horrible Printer!

I bought this printer for my real estate office - I've been having problems from the get-go. It takes ages to print a page if it prints it at all. Sometimes it half prints a page and spits it out. Worst printer ever. Buying a cord hasn't worked at all.

Frustrated

Bought this printer 2 years ago, it was great until I replaced the ink catridges. Now I have a super nice scanner. Every time I print anything I get ghosting on the print some lines and words are worse than others but the print side is useless. I have tried the alignment and cleaning processes and nothing changed. At my wits end with this printer
