A piece of garbage

Terrible printer...it constantly is "processing" and always when you need a print right away. wifi stopped working months ago....no reason...just stopped...then when upgraded to Windows 10 it worked for about a week wirelessly. It is ink hungry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this unit the first of December and had some catching up on my paper work. My old printer was a Officejet Pro. It worked great too, but like most things now days, they fail, that's a fact. This new Canon MX series is quite and fast for me.
Set-up time was a snap and easy. (I'm no intellect here), but the set-up easy. Everything I have the printer do, it does just as Canon says it will.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Printer, my 3rd Pixma

I bought this printer just over 3 months ago and it has worked flawlessly. It is my third Canon Pixma and in my experience they don't last forever but I love the quality of the printing plus the double sided printing & scanning. Scanning from the machine to my computer is new to this model for me at least but it works great and is really simple.
I would recommend this to a friend!

High quality, dependable, but "speed" is overrated

If you print a lot of short documents this printer will drive you crazy waiting between documents. I don't know what the gremlins are doing in there, but obviously the speed ratings and specs they publish are NOT based on when you push the button on your computer and say "Print" - they are based on when the printer actually starts to print the page. Yea, when it starts to print the page it prints really fast - but my God - what is going on in there in between documents? It takes forever for it to queue up a document and to start the document. For a photo printer, I just think they shortchanged the brains inside this thing or it would not take so long to queue up a document to print it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT ALL-IN-ONE PRINTER.

I HAVE NOT HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE ALL THE FEATURES OF THIS PRINTER YET AS I HAVE ONLY HAD IT A WEEK. I HAD TO REPLACE MY EXISTING PIXMA MG7520 PRINTER WHEN THE PAGE BLACK CARTRIDGE POSITION QUIT PRINTING TEXT. ONE BONUS IS THAT THESE TWO PRINTERS SHARE/USE THE SAME INK CARTRIDGE SERIES ALLOWING ME TO CONTINUE TO USE MY EXISTING STOCK OF INK.
I PICKED THIS PRINTER FOR AN ADDITIONAL REASON. I CREATE MY OWN DVD'S AND LABEL THEM WITH TEXT AND IMAGES. BOTH PRINTERS HAVE THAT CAPABILITY.
I WISH THAT MY NEW PRINTER HAD THE AUTO-START FEATURE WHICH WAS ON MY OLD ONE. ONE FEATURE NEITHER HAS IS AN AUTO-OFF. THAT WAY I COULD PRINT FROM ANYWHERE AND NOT HAVE TO REMEMBER TO SHUT IT DOWN.

Wish I paid more for a simple laser printer

I've had this product for less than a year. I don't use it that often and now it won't print. And it's saying it needs new printer cartridges. This is my first ink-jet, so maybe I'm just used to laser printer cartridges lasting longer. At any rate, it is not reliable. The paper output drawer opens when your print automatically and the extender mechanism broke very early on. The paper tray is not well supported underneath the printer so it gets stuck and feels like it is going to break every time I open it to add paper. It keeps printing blank pages. Disappointed.

Waste of money!

I have had nothing but trouble with it trying to print, trying to connect,. The settings are always wrong. I have reinstalled this thing 3 times and still have the same issues. I had an Epson before that was amazing. It finally had to be put to rest,. I loved that printer but I was hearing about Canon how good and well, now you know the rest of the story.......
