poor performance

I've had cannon pixma printers for a number of years, since about 2005. The last one I had was the MX880 series, great printer, finally died just because of a lightning strike! I had bought on sale two of the MX922 series expecting similar quality and hoping they would last a number of years but am ready to return them to the store. They constantly jam, have printing issues as far as jagged lines, I am very unhappy with them. One of the issues is that they no longer have a back tray and instead all feed from cassette, which seems to add to the jamming.

This is by far the worst printer I have had in twenty years. When it prints the quality is ok, problem is it jams about every third copy and takes a half day to go thru its processes before scanning and printing.

Slow slow slow!

This printer is so slow to print! The ink cartridges go back and forth a million times before something finally comes out.

Reviews are correct on excessive head cleaning

This unit takes a long time to output due to the cleaning cycles which are excessive. I am a previous Canon owner and loved my MP500 but this machine is not for you if you expect the pages to print quickly.

Awesome Printer

I have had this printer for over a year now, it works flawlessly since day one. WiFi works every time. Bluetooth perfect daily. Photo colors great for the price I paid, even use transparent sheets with the Glossy print mode let`s the ink dry and comes out like a professional quality printers would do. I have absolutely no complaints, with the time I have used this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Started out great

Holy slow time to print batman. This thing worked like a charm for the first 3 months but now it takes it 10 - 15 min just to start to print from several different devices. I’d avoid it and get something else all together.

Very Frustrating Printer

I was initially able to connect my Mac to the printer, but I was only able to print if I had a PDF open in "Preview." I was never able to print from Word or Adobe. When I moved, I have not since been able to connect the printer. I have taken every step through the help desk. I am able to connect the printer to the wireless network, but then the printer says there is no connection immediately after I set everything up. I don't remember reading so many bad reviews a few years ago when I bought it, but the other reviews seem accurate and should be heeded as a warning. I would not buy this product.

Beautiful color pictures

I've used this for general printing and for color photos. The photos on high quality paper turn out looking clear and true to the color.
