Disappointing

I loved this printer at the beginning and bought one for my home and office. Now I DONT! The drivers have to be reloaded periodically and it sometimes takes minutes to start printing. The scanner drivers go out. It needs a lot of work before the produce another one in this series
Cons: Slow Print Speed, Low Quality Output, unreliable

I have had the printer for just over a year. Very slow printing. Heads need to be constantly cleaned. Goes through ink like water. Very sorry I purchased this printer.
We have use3d Canon printers for years at work. this one is just a dud.

Lost connection to wifi

Ive had this printer for 6 months and the first 3 months were fine but then it started losing the connection to wifi and finally it says connected but its not. Wrill not print over wifi or when i connect to a computer. It make good copies but is very slow.

The printer is complicated, slow and runs out of ink very quickly. It's slow to turn on and to turn off. I will never buy a Canon product again.

Not dependable at all

Multiple printhead cleanings are required every week. No matter the brand of ink cartridges purchased. Frequently stops making copies. I'm talking about up to 10 copies/hour. Canon has already replaced the entire machine before for breakdowns.

wireless is worthless

Seems like it should be a pretty good printer but the wifi is awful
Connected fine on install, no computer can't find the printer...try to reinstall the software and 100% of any trouble shooting is fixated on connecting the printer to the wifi...its connected just fine, software on my pc is unable to find the printer....giving up, glad I can take it back
Cons: Large Footprint, Difficult Setup, unreliable

Bought a new canon pixma mx922. Right out of the box the ink smeared. Finally corrected itself after the urgency of having the printer was over. Had to pay to have the job done. Scan feature does not work. Very unfriendly control panel. I have never heard such a noisey machine even after using the "quiet" setting!
