Excruciatling Slow

This printer has more than it's fare share of features. From a feature standpoint, It lacks little (except a usb port).
That being said, if the features it has worked it would be a great value. The speed of most functions is painfully slow. As I write this review, I've sat here for 8 minutes now waiting for the printer to start up. When I print a document (with a USB connection mind you) takes about 4 minutes and and scanning well, that feature is an enigma since the printer doesn't have a Flash Drive port and I've not been able to get it to scan to my PC.
Now it's been about 10 min. While I wait, i'll interject a pet peeve. When you select photo as the print quality, it makes you print from the photo tray and not the paper tray. The photo tray doesn't accommodate 8.5x11 paper. It does not give you the option to print 8.5 x 11 photos.
It's been about 12min now and no luck. Did my 6 month old printer die??
I'm a canon fan and this is the first printer that i am unhappy with. I will probably replace it with another canon but this model my friends, is definitely a lemon.

I am very disappointed in the Pixma MX922. The quality of the scans is extremely bad. After using it for just a couple of months I am shopping for a new one, which won't be a Canon Pixma. I can't afford "poor quality", and I don't have time to shop for a new one! Sad!

Poor Documentation, Installation Issues

Set Up is tedious. I'm an experienced user, but this is definitely not plug and play. Hard to follow documentation.

One Word - - - - Pathetic!

Error message first time it was powered on!
LAN Wire from Printer to the Router is dead!
Wi-Fi won't connect no matter what I try!
Only works intermittently even when connected via USB!
Any More Questions Why NOT To Buy This Low grade poor excurse for a printer.
It should be marketed as a large paperweight - Not a printer.

Stay away from this printer, first thing is it comes with a CD, seriously a CD? Ok that part I can still download from the website after a few hours of work, constantly losses conection, forget air print even Canons web site does not work. Buy a different brand its not what you would expect from Canon. Returned the printer and got an Hp Envy, and I did not have to spend my whole day trying to install this printer, and it actually works and does not loose connection every day .

BAD PRODUCT

THIS PRINTER HAS BEEN A PROBLEM, SINCE I PURCHASED IT. SET UP WAS A COMPLICATED PAIN, THE PRINTS HAVE NEVER BEEN OPTIMAL (FORGET PRINTING NICE LOOKING PHOTOS) AND NOW THE 1403 INCORRECT PRINTER HEAD CODE IS ON TH SCREEN AND IS PREVENTING THE PRINTER FROM WORKING AT ALL. IT IS THE SAME PRINTER HEAD THAT CAME IN THE MACHINE. I HAVE BEEN TO THE SUPPORT SITES AND FOLLOWED EVERY INSTRUCTION WITH NO RESOLUTION OF PROBLEM. APPARENTLY THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT IS PRETTY COMMON AND THERE ARE MANY ANGRY CUSTOMERS OUT THERE. I JUST WISH I HAD SEEN THE COMMENTS BEFORE I WASTED MY MONEY ON THIS PRINTER. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
