Worst of PIXMAs

I have owned the MX850, the MX870, and now this one. The MX850 was the best of all. It had all the features and it worked well. The MX870 was OK, too. But the MX922 has made the Canon printer line sour. 1) It does NOT have a second paper tray - the advertised features were not clear. The second tray only does envelopes and pictures. I needed something for alternate standard size paper and was fooled. 2) The one true paper tray it has does not keep the paper stable. The paper does not even stay seated against the end stop. So, printed pages, especially labels, do not position the same every time. 3) The printer can't seem to print a whole page without at least one line of text being a little skewed - where the tops of letters are shifted from the bottoms of letters. 4) The printer seems to take forever to gyrate itself before being ready to print and again after it prints. NEVER open the lid if you are in a hurry to print.

Horrible Product

Very disappointed, Canon. I have had nothing but trouble out of this printer since buying it a year ago. Complicated to use, extremely slow to print, drains ink while providing extremely low quality printing, prints double sided when I have it set not to, spits out blank pages, & I can't get it to print at all right now. Printer shopping now and will not be buying another Canon.

Stinks on multiple levels

This printer is bad in the following ways:
1. Does not want to connect to the network. When we get it connected, it does not stay connected. I had to plug a usb cable into the router like it's 2003
2. Slow. Need to print something quickly and dash out of the house? Well, you need to wait a minimum of 5 minutes of whirring, clicks and grinding before your 1 page black and white page comes out.
3. Ink. No matter when you add ink cartridges, it always says it's low on ink. Evey time.
I adore my canon photography gear but this is just horrible, and it takes a lot for me to write a review of anything.

This is the worst printer in the world

I've had this printer for about two years. I despise it. Do not buy this printer. If you are considering buying this printer, stop! To do anything, print, scan, copy, takes forever. The thing "warms up" for five minutes each and every time. It will drive you insane!

One star rating is one too many. Biggest piece of garbage I ever purchased! Spend more time trying to get in back "online" than I do actually printing. Had a Canon printer for several years and loved it ~ not this one. Can't take it anymore ~ buying an HP.

Impossible to keep connectivity

We have 2 desktops and 4 laptops. Each one at various times loses connectivity and we have to reinstall the printer and driver. Talk about buyer's remorse.

This product is FULL of bugs for the every day user. For instance, our teenagers need to use google airprint - but the printer is constantly dropping the connection, forcing us to reset up the link.

Change the ink and now I can't get the code 1660 to leave clean it and everything . My printer is the cannon mx922
