New Printer Head Needed

I was pleased with the product overall, but, essentially, it was not printing passages clearly, instead there were only "streaks" of statements. I called the phone support and an agent by the name of David was very efficient, courteous, and skilled at diagnosing the problem and providing a solution. I will await the new printer head in the mail and hopefully that should do it!

Nothing but Frustration

We've had this machine for about 6 months. We use it with our iMac. It often doesn't print documents, at least not until we restart both the computer and printer. Who needs the aggravation? I cannot run my business with something that is temperamental and seems to cooperate when it wants. It has been continuos frustration. It does scan well. But, I would say to stay away from it and get something that is reliable. This machine is UNRELIABLE!

Difficult setup

Can somebody explain me how to hook up this device to a wireless network when using a Mac? I followed all instructions and still does not work. I will probably return it soon.
Very difficult to set up. If you are like me, pc - illiterate don't buy this printer. I can't even rate it since it doesn't work.

Great price for the Money

I got this printer about 7 months ago but did not have time to write this review till now. Great for pictures but needs support for email printing and pdf support with pictures or emblems. Other than that this printer is perfect.

Best purchase in years

I've used every printer out there at one time or another and owned most of them at different periods in my life. I recommend the Canon for its smooth operation and quality printing. I've used them at the office and at home, from business documents and pictures. They have never failed me ....in years past. I have always had a problem with the paper loaders of other printers....not the Canon...it is quiet and smooth. It is done before I even think to look for the product that I am printing. Great printer....combo....we just bought all new ones for the office this Spring. Thank You....and that's for the update for Windows 10 !!!

Very dissatisfied, full of flaws

This model has no rear paper feed for envelopes or specialty papers; you must unload your regular paper, adjust the paper guides, load and print an envelope, then readjust your guides and reload regular paper. And even more frustrating, I've spent hours trying to figure out how to print custom sized paper - it only wants to print from the undersized upper cassette - no option to use the lower cassette. No adequate information available if this is even possible. I'm a fairly skilled Word user, and I've exhausted all my options. Cannot find an answer. If my 30 day period wasn't up, I'd return this horrible printer.

Great features

Bought this printer as a Christmas present, I have had no problems with it what so ever, Yea the ink is a little costly, but if you compare the cost to most twin cartridge printers, there isn't much of a price difference. I love the fact I can print on both sided and even on a CD-ROM. I can load multiple paged in the ADF for faxing. I would recommend this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Qulity printing

I bought this a year ago to replace another Canon multi-function printer and have been happy with the performance. The ink usage is very high and I miss the rear feed of the previous Canon printers that I owned
Canon reliability seems to be degrading. My Pixma IP400 lasted 5 years before I had to replace the print head because it was worn out and then I only stopped using it because Canon Ink became difficult to find. The replacement lasted 2 years and it stopped working with an unspecified print head failure. The cost of the replacement print head was about the same as the MX922, so I bought a new printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
