I have always own a canon printer as I always take care of my printers as I hate HP COMPUTERS AND PRINTERS they are always problems and HP is nothing but junk . as some people say the printer is no good as I find out when they are return back there is nothing wrong with the printers as about 90 % of people never read the instructions and do not know what they are doing as most never take care of there printers as off all the printers out there I have found out canon to be one of the best as always I stand behind canon products 100% as I have never ever had any issues or any problems .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall disappoinment

Black and white copies are fine and the color copies are not vibrant.To refill all 5 ink cartridges costs almost as much as the printer itself. All I need is black and white copies and I have it set that way in settings. BUT the printer uses the color cartridges as well as the black! Scanner feature is fine as that's what I use it for only and bought another black only ink printer. But the scanner wont work once the cartridges are exhausted.

Output tray is the worst

I've had this model for work -- three times. The first two completely stopped working pretty much the minute the warranty ran out. The third is not allowing me to print wirelessly. Awesome. The output tray is really just a launching pad for paper to fly to the floor. I can't believe they designed the output that way.

Prints are good quality

First printer was full of errors when we first turned it on. Went thru trouble shoot with technian but after a few things, he said send it back to canon. "Don't they do quality control" second printer prints good quality photos and regular documents with no issues. Only giving it 3 stars because a company should never release products that do not work. "New" is suppose to work right? I guess it's worth the money spent.

Great Features and Easy to Use

I have owned this printer for a couple of months and it has changed how I function in my home office. The printer is full of great features and the print quality is excellent. The software interface and Image Garden make printing pictures and creating PDF documents a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!
