Slower than a turtle

This printer is so, so slow to print it is very frustrating. In our option it was a waste of money which is awful in itself since it cost so much.
Takes itself offline most of the time so that printing when in another location is not an option.
Color is excellent.

The printer is way too fussy. Sometimes it prints, sometimes it doesn't. It takes forever to start and it is quite noisy. Today it's screen warned "Please wait awhile". I'm an engineer and my wife is a programmer and neither of us can make it work reliably.
Pros: looks nice
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, unreliable

I had a Cannon all in one for years and wanted to upgrade. What a mistake. This printer is slow to start up and print. If not used for a couple of days, I have to turn it off and back on for it to work. I have no idea where my copies go to. The ink is expensive and doesn't last long.

Others I have had in the past were great. Hate this one, it is forever making noise either loading ink or what pray tell, and it extremely slow. And when you first get it, it is set for photo, so it uses an extreme amount of ink. I had to call manufacture to find out how to change this feature. On-line manual is a joke. Very noisy & ink guzzler & you just can't order ink cartridges everywhere plus it requires a lot of them.

More time setting up than using

I have spent more time setting this up to print from my computer than using it. I get it set up and it prints fine. It also scans fine. But in the 3 months that I have owned it I have had to set it up 2 times. I am on time number three and cannot gett it to work at all! :( It is slow to print and scan. It is also very large!

persistent paper feed issue

The printer looks for paper in the upper cassette, meant for envelopes etc, even with the correct default paper size and the latest drivers. I have lo;st patience after only a week or two of ownership. DO NOT BUY

Terrible print...too light

I am self employed and my HP I'd had forever finally broke so I bought this Canon. It prints some things fine and others are so light that you can read them and I can find no way to make the copies darker. Its been over 30 days but I'm going to try to return it. Not only does it not print nice...I'm talking regular paper....the ink is massively expensive and runs out quick due to trying to keep reprinting things that are too light. Huge waste of money.
