DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT HEADACHES!

I bought this thing thinking it was going to last me a while and it turned out to only work a few times then loses its connection to the "access point". If you are using this as a wireless printer you need not bother buying this piece of junk.

Great printer

I found this printer quick and easy to set up. The wireless printing works great for me. The printing quality is also very good. After my husband saw what a great printer it is for the price, he bought one the next day. I have had this printer for about four months with zero problems using it almost daily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My MX922 takes SO long to print. More than 75% of the time, when I send a document to it for printing, this printer decides to clean its heads (OR I get a "please wait momentarily" message while it sits on my desk and simply "grinds"). I wish I would have made a different choice when it came to a printer. My previous Canon product was a workhorse. This one . . . not so much.

DO NOT BUY! Horrible ink usage & customer service

I purchased this printer to replace an old Canon Pixma that I had been fairly happy with. However, after 3 weeks, I ran out of ink. On my old PIXMA, I was used to going several months without replacing any ink. I had not changed my printing habits and I used the "fast" option for most print-jobs to conserve ink. I called Canon to find out if the printer, when new, comes with less than full ink, and I was assured that full ink cartridges are provided with the new printer. In that case, I decided that I wanted to return the printer because I could not believe how bad the ink usage was. I did not want to have to buy new ink every month or so! But Canon cited a 14 day return policy and would not allow me to return the printer. So please beware...
Cons: Slow Print Speed, Flimsy Construction, bad ink usage

Not worth it

This printer is SLOW, has been malfunctioning and printing red for all greyscale items and constantly drops the wireless signal even though my computer does not. And it does not even come with a cord to connect to your computer so you are up a creek when it drops the signal. Terrible technology.
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, unreliable

Do not buy!!!!

I've had this printer for about the year and almost every time I try to print there is always an issue. The printer is slow, not user friendly, it is so frustrating to use. Wish I would have taken it back sooner. I have had plenty of other printers that have worked so much better than this one. DO NOT BUY!!

Frustrating to say the least

Bought as gift, so I'm reluctant to return, to keep peace in family. Operation is not consistent, I've yet to get it to print an address on an envelope. Each time I start any task, I wonder what "adventure in printing" will take place.
