No More Printers Please

I am a long time camera/lens user of Canon products. They do excel in the arena of photography but should get out of the printer business. I have owned four (4) Canon printers and will never own another one. The Pixma MX922 was a waste of money. Difficult to set up for wifi remotely but the functions of the printer even when it is plugged into the laptop or computer lacks performance. It sometimes recognized the computer, sometimes not. The paper feeds are worthless. It doesn't matter how much paper I install or at which feed point I place the paper the printer continually tells me it is out of paper. DON'T BUY THIS even if it is dirt cheap.

The Best Inkjet Printer Ever Made

I just got this printer today, and I love it! Speed is super fast, ink tanks are large and a good value, and quality is amazing! CD printing is a very helpful feature. This beats my previous printers and laser printers! This printer can't be beat!
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, durable, Small Footprint, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use, stylish, cassettes for photo and plain paper
I would recommend this to a friend!

Usually I'm a big Canon guy but this printer is very poor.
The scanner chokes on even good originals.
The photos have noticable scan lines.
It eats ink.
It warms up forever.
I use scangear because the supplied software took forever and was hard to use.

Waste of money

Been a big Canon fan for some time, but will no longer be a printer customer. Stick to something you're good at Canon. Printers are not it. This printer can only print on thin stock. Card stock or heavy photo paper doesn't stand a chance in this printer. Speed is also an issue. Often takes minutes (no exaggeration here) to ready itself. Reasonably fast after the very slow start... Look to other brands if you want print media flexibility.

Stay away from this printer

Please read the numerous reviews on this printer before making a purchase. All of the negative reviews are 100% accurate. This is by far the worse printer that I have owned. Four months of ownership and it has been one problem after another from phantom paper jammed to lost wifi connection.

Do not buy this printer

My previous Canon printer was great, however I had to replace it as I could not get ink for it any longer and it was time to upgrade.
I am very disappointed in this printer, the wireless connection is totally unreliable. I have now changed the setup to a wired LAN connection and am experiencing the the same unrelaible performance. I have event reinstalled the twice and this has not fixed the issue. I spend more time trying to figure out how to get it working than actually printing. This printer is a total waste of money and I do not recommend it to anyone.
Pros: High Quality Output
Cons: Difficult to use, Large Footprint, Difficult Setup, unreliable

Just Terrible

I bought this last Thanksgiving in anticipation of my eight year old printer going on the blink. I started setting it up in January and couldn't get the printer to access wireless. I've been using a cable connection although the reason I bought it was for wireless capacity. I've just spent the ENTIRE morning trying to fix the wireless aspect. No luck and too late to return. Shouldn't be this difficult. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who actually wants a printer that works.
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Difficult Setup

unreliable & slow

Failed one month out of warranty because printer heads "clogged". Printer was only used about once per day so no heavy use. Took forever to print a single page so almost a relief when it died after 13 months.
