Unreliable at best

This is my second Pixma MX922. The first one lasted about a year and worked competently for most of that time. The photo software is terrible, not at all user friendly and got stuck in it's own workings often. But I decided to get another one when the first one died because, for the price, it's one of the only combination printers I could find that had all the features I wanted, including a sheet feeder (which, as it turns out, doesn't work with the scanner). Today my second unit flipped out and is caught in a loop where it keeps cycling as it were about to print, but won't. There is no way to cancel it; turning off the power didn't work. I am probably going to need to toss this machine that I purchased less than 6 months ago. I won't buy this item again, and I'd hesitate to get another Canon printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Piece of Crap will fail repeatedly

Printer worked on and off for about 6 months to a year. About a 50% chance on any given day it will print what you tell it to. Now just loads documents to the print que and either fails to communicate with printer of just flat out does nothing. Ink costs almost as much as the printer. Big waste of money. 2nd Canon printer I have owned that has failed quickly. Will not be buying another.

This printer is rubbish do not purchase. I replace it with my Lexmark printer thinking it was better all this rubbish do is make noise not even printing the paper.

I have had this printer for about three years and all of a sudden my computer could not connect with the printer. I went through all the procedures to reconnect but the only thing it would print is a test page. It was a good printer while it lasted.

not a wireless printer

This printer works for a few hours or a day then goes off line. The pint is not crisp, so far the worst printer I have ever owned.
Pros: nothing
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Large Footprint, Difficult Setup, Low Quality Output, unreliable, Flimsy Construction

Worst Printer EVER!

Horrible printer, never worked correctly after multiple attempts to set it up (wireless and wired).... spend your money on ANYTHING else.
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Difficult Setup, unreliable

I wanted to love this machine. It had all the features I needed and I had no problems with my MP620. This machine does not print wirelessly, does not automatically connect to the router (you have to manually type in all information), and then this printer looses the connection and does not print. Aggravating! I am going to return this printer, but I can't print the return label!!!!
