Good Price, but does not last long.

We usually have to replace this same printer after a couple of years because it always indicates that it needs maintenance and won't print. It usually works pretty good, but not sure why I keep buying this same printer when it causes me pain and drives me nuts. Good thing that you can use cheaper ink cartridges so that is the best thing about the printer. We use the fax a few times a year and print out pictures, which is not bad. Overall I guess we are satisfied - think I will buy the warranty, which seems to make sense for this printer.

Too slow

I bough this printer mx922 about 8 months ago. The printer works fines just as any other. The only issue is that the printer is way too slow for a home office or any type of professional work , including school projects. When I am scanning it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for 10 pages. Printing is the same. When I bought this printer, it was the best Canon had in the market as a home-office printer. As I said at the beginning, the printer is good and reliable, but way too slow

Loading the paper tray back into the printer is a real pain. I didn't think there would be that high a learning curve.

Extremely Unreliable

If you are looking for a printer that would last longer, this isn't the option. I print only few papers a month and recently all the printing came out were twisted. I did some research and cleaned the encoder film, but the problem still persist.

Generally I like this printer, but for whatever reason it won't work wirelessly. But I also can't get my Google device to work wirelessly.

A very disappointing product

I loved the printer, initially. A great feature is the double tray that allows to you have two different kinds of paper at the same time; the printer determines whether you are printing a photo or a regular document and automatically selects the tray with the proper paper. Unfortunately, after very little use (less than 200 printed pages and photos), the printer stopped working properly. First, it was an error message that would make you turn the printer off and turn it back on again in order to be able to print. And then, the scanner stopped scanning correctly, instead producing a duplicated scan of HALF of the image I wanted to scan. At this point, the printer is garbage.
