Well worth the money

Had too replace my Canon that died with this printer about two months ago and this one works great. Had not any problems with it since been using it. Really like the phone set up that it has. Great printing quantities.

Just purchased recently to replace my MP830 Multifunction printer. It does seem to be a bit slower than the MP830. Biggest miss in my opinion is the lack of multi-memory card reader that my MP830 had. Will update later after using it for a while.

Trouble with ONLINE connection.

Every time I try to print from my laptop computer, the printer says it is OFFLINE! I am so very frustrated because I purchased this printer FOR it's internet ability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Save yourself the trouble and shop around

Purchased this printer based on price point and various multifunction features. There are a number of aspects that are attractive in theory, such as wireless printing, Google cloud print, and printing from mobile devices. Duplex printing is also a nice feature and drew me to purchasing the device. But, in short, I've had LOTS of problems with the printer, most notably a huge problem with the PGBK toner. Multiple cartridges simply will not print, no matter how often I do cleaning and deep cleaning. This cartridge is essential to the function of the printer, and unfortunately I'm simply going to have to get rid of this printer and purchase a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid printer/scanner

Just passed the two-and-a-half year mark of medium use. Print several color photos and Word and Excel documents each week, and several color greeting cards every month. Occasionally scan photos, magazine articles, legal documents. Haven't bothered to connect phone line for fax. It's handy to have a separate cassette for 4x6 photos (I keep glossy paper loaded there), but would have preferred the secondary cassette to be reserved for envelopes. Happy, but not overwhelmed, with color photo quality; text prints beautifully. Printer sometimes goes through exasperatingly long cycles at the beginning of a print job, but has been a reliable machine for what my needs are. Scan quality and the auto document feeder are much better than expected. Only recently came across the internal function to print legal pages, graph paper - - cute!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A MAJOR PROBLEM IS OPERATING MANUALS. VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANYTHING. PAGES ARE NUMBERED AND THERE IS A VOLUMINOUS INDEX, WITH NO PAGE NUMBERS. THE SECTIONS HAVE NO LOGICAL WAY TO IDENTIFY WHERE YOU ARE WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO IDENTIFY WHERE YOU ARE BECAUSE CHAPTERS AND VOLUMES DO NOT HAVE DISTINCTIVE WAYS OF IDENTIFYING THEM. A GRADE SCHOOLER COULD IMPROVE THE EDITING! THE PRODUCT IS VIRTUALLY FLAWLESS, BUT THE SUPPORT IS NOT!
