To Complicated to use

This Printer may have a lot of features , but you have to spend way to much time trying figure them out.
Will not print PDF files off your computer. Cannot hit a key to print just the first page of article. Must spend way to much time to print the copy of what you want from your computer. Very hard to use from other products I have used.
Will sent this product back for a refund.
Pros: none
Cons: to hard to use

Saving Scanned Documents

This is my second Canon Multifunctional Printer. I was very happy with the first until it died so I bought another one. I need to do a fair amount of scanning. I can scan without a problem, but I am having a devil of a time figuring out how to SAVE the scanned document. This should be simple, but it looks like most of the literature has to do with photos, not scanning. Help!

Worst printer ever

I have had this printer for two years and have rebooted it at least a couple of times a week. I have had to reinstall the software numerous times. I tried this printer after having purchased another brand numerous times and will never purchase another Canon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this printer two weeks ago. It worked fine in the beginning, later it became offline with no specific reason. I have followed all the recommendations with no resolution.

Out of Ink - Into the Trash

As soon as I use up the expensive ink I purchased for this printer, it willl be thrown in the garbage.
I spent all day trying to get wifi connected with no luck. My router is right next to the printer with a strong signal!! All my other devices in the room work fine with wifi. I had to run an internet cable directly to the back of the printer to get it to run wired.
If you get a paper jam, forget it. It is easy to remove the paper jam from the printer but you receive so many error codes and the printer will not reset. I had to remove power from the back of the printer numerous times, press cancel, turn on/off to get the printer to reset.
I'll never buy another Canon.

THIS BLAME PRINTER WORKED FOR A WHILE ? NOW I HAVE BEEN RERUNNING THIS AND TRY EVERYTHING TO GET IT TO WORK, FOR OVER 2 WEEKS???? IT WILL NOT TALK TO MY PC. TO BEGAN WITH I HAD TO CALL YOU SERVICE LINE TO EVEN GET IT TO GOING AND WAS SENT TO GEEKZ ONLINE STORE , $99 DOLLARS LATER IT FINELY WORK FROM MARCH 6 UNTILL A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. I AM THINKING ABOUT TAKING A HAMMER TO IT AND SMASHING IT INTO A THOUSANDS PIECE'S AND MAILING IT TO YOU! BEFORE THIS PRINTER I HAD ANOTHER PRINTER ( A CANON) NO TROUBLE WITH IT!

I'm using Canon for many years. Cameras, Lenses, Flash light, etc With this printer I have quality in pictures, documents and labels. I do not care if ink is expensive, If i want quality I agree to pay for it.

the driver did not install eventhough the support showed detected current program on my mac matched the driver available.
Cons: Difficult to use, Large Footprint, Difficult Setup
