Had three canon printers

I have had three canon printers and today this one is the best I have owned. The 620 was good but this one is a keeper. I paid a very good price for it and am enjoying all the interesting things it can do.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: Large Footprint
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the worst, least reliable, hardest to use printer I have ever used of owned! Wish I had never bought it.
Cons: printer software, reliability, ease of maintenance

Great Printer But . . . . .

I'm very happy with the quality of this printer, but as a network printer it leaves a lot to be desired.
It constantly goes offline and cannot be restored except by powering down the router, computer and printer.

Disappointing Machine

I have had this printer for a couple of months now. The scanner is of lower quality than the stand alone one I previously used and has fewer options for modifying the file before saving it.
The printer is more problematic. I have been trying to print some cards. The printer worked fine for the letter size cards, but when I tried some half letter size cards it got confused.
I put the paper in the lower cassette and told the software that is where to look. The printer insisted that the upper tray was empty (which it was) and wouldn't print. I put the cardstock into the upper cassette (it wouldn't fit properly as it was too big which I knew) and the printer told me it couldn't print on the paper.
My old Canon i900D would print the cards.
My point it that this printer may be acceptable for basic letter printing but is unacceptable for any special printing.

Worst to set up

This printer is difficult to set up and get running. It keeps going offline so you cannot print from your mobile device until you are back at the printer. Good thing the customer support is so easy to get a hold of since I have spent 4 hours on the phone with them.
Also, if you do not have a CD drive on your computer, you will need to have an extra USB to printer cable laying around, since it does not come with one.
When connecting the printer to the wireless connection, I spent over an hour looking for a solution to several issues. The instructions are wrong so be sure to spend time learning.

Worst purchase ever

Not user friendly. Unable to print from tablet. Have another canon printer loved it thought this would be the same. Wouldn't recommend to a friend

I bought this printer about four months ago and absolutely love it. Not only because it's a Cannon or the printer cartridges are less expensive than other printers. IT'S MADE IN THE U.S.A!!!!! bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!
