Great video quality

I have 2 other HD video cameras of similar price, and I am very impressed with the quality of video recorded on this particular camera. Image looks very crisp and clear, even when zoomed in from quite a distance. Sound is great.
Additionally, this camera is the only one I can find at this price with a mic jack.
I have not had a need to use some of the features, such as the WIFI or software.
My only complaint is that I find the menu system on this camera to be awkward and counter intuitive.
I like it so much I bought another Vixia with the same camera parts but missing WIFI.
Pros: Great sound/audio, excellent image quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

At first glance this camcorder looks cheap and not that many functions,but if u read the manuel and learn how to access its many options it is very easy and very user friendly.Definitely appreciate the many recording formats and playback options!

Easy to use

Great Camera. Easy to use with touch screen menu. Built in WiFi will allow you to connect to the camera wirelessly and view your pictures and video. You can control the camcorder using a smartphone or tablet. Only downside is getting good tech support to view you Hi Def movies on your computer for editing. Hardware and Video editing Software are from two different companies, not a good marriage.
Pros: good battery life, Great sound/audio, Compact Design, excellent image quality, easy to use
Cons: Limited Software Compatibility, tech support from other software company is bad
