I bought these cases because my granddaughter often breaks the CD cases for all her children's music and this way I can protect the CDs. Also the cases are perfect for any DVDs you make. Purchased them as the Best Buy DOTD (Deal of the Day) great product great price.

Lousy C-D Cases

I purchased 4 boxes of the Dynex™ - 25-Pack Slim DVD Cases - Multicolor over the internet and picked up at the Best Buy outlet and when I removed one box of C-D cases from the store bag, I noticed right away that the plastic wrapping was torn and upon closer observation, I saw that some of the C-D cases were broken. Also, on close examination I noticed that the plastic used is of very low quality and will break easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
