I was extremely surprised to read that other review, i'm sorry that your experience has been so bad. I on the other hand bought this headset and have gotten nothing but success from it. I use it for listening to music, chatting with internet calling, and speech recognition. All three have been amazing with this. Maybe it was your ears or something, These earphones do not hurt for me unless i leave them on for 6 hours +. When this happens i take them off for about 10 minutes and the problem is rectified. Amazing Headset, I definitely recommend!

I ended up buying this headset after my son destroyed my LifeChat headset from Microsoft. This headset is really great. It is light. And clear, on both ends. And the noise canceling mic works pretty well.
I would definately recommend this product.

Only headset I use now

I have have many headsets including 2 other logitech headsets and a few gaming headsets. But this one is by far the most comfortable. The earpieces are fully adjustable. You can slide them foward and back and also tilt them as need to fit your head. It loops around your head so it doesn't mess with your hair. There is a mic mute and volume control on the wire. I got the one with the nice case and usb soundcard which also works great. The headset folds nice and neatly so its great for traveling. I use it with my laptop and use it for internet phone calls and online gaming. All my calls have been crystal clear on both ends. A must have.
I would recommend this to a friend!

AWSOME

In my field of work, I do allot of online voice chats. This headset is hands down the best i have used. not only is it comfortable, but the sound and voice quality is superb. Another nice feature is the fact that it comes with a hard carrying case. I can put them away and throw them in my laptop bag with out worrying about them binding or breaking during my travels.
What's great about it: comfort, sound quality, voice quality
What's not so great: none
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned many headsets in my time and i have had many troubles with them but since i bought This headset i had no troubles sound quality was awesome and also very comfortable.. Logitech finally made a A+ headset

I bought these for my notebook after reading all of the positive reviews. The headset had good sound quality but after one month of use the microphone died. I called Logitech and they could not pinpoint the problem so they sent me a replacement. However, I also bought a new set from another manufacturer as I didn't trust that the replacement would last long.
What's great about it: lightweight, comfortable, easy for travel
What's not so great: durability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this headset a little while ago, and at first I had second thoughts. But when I got it, I realized how great it was. It's comfortable, and works great. I read some reviews saying that it had died after a few months of use. Well, Ive had this for a little more than a few months, and mine is in excellent condition. If you take care of this product, trust me, it will last. It has a nice design, and is durable. I highly recommend this product.
What's great about it: Style, comfortability, durability, sound performance, and the noise cancelling mic performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Sound Quality For Gaming

This headset is unbeatable for the price. It comes with a case to store it in on the go and it is easily colapsable to conserve space. The USB connector makes it easy to use. The sound quality is crystal clear, with the few exceptions of static but these times are very rare. The design is so lightweight that even after hours of gaming your ears are fine. The headset though isn't so lightweight you won't notice it but it is just enough that u may forget about it. This is a great universal headset that anyone should look into, be it for gaming, schooling, or bussiness.
(This headset works with either notebook or desktop computers.)
What's great about it: Lightweight, Easy Storage, Easy USB connection, Clear sound quality
What's not so great: Easily Broken, Mic only moves up and down (not bendable)
I would recommend this to a friend!
