I picked up this headset a few years back, around the beginning of 2006. From the beginning, the product was excellent. Not perfect, but definitely worth the price. I paid around 60usd for mine. The usb adapter is a great way to connect this headset up. This allows you to have game sound coming from your speakers, while voice coming through the headset. For a few years, never had a single complaint, until the usb adapter stopped working. It wasn't that big of a deal, really. Given the amount of use I had with it. Failure was to be expected at some point. The headset it self still worked fine, as it does to this day. The only problem I'm having now, is the ear phone covers are gone. They do wear out. You can pick up replacements almost anywhere that sells headphones.
I'm considering buying another one.
What's great about it: Convenience, USB Adapter, Carrying Case, Works very well. Excellent sound quality

I use a voice recognition program (the one that comes with Windows 7 is the one I use) to type because I have carpal tunnel in both wrists. The quality of the microphone that you use with a voice recognition program will greatly affect the accuracy that it has in recognizing what you say. Unfortunately, I'm not very knowledgeable about sound quality or the specifications to look for in a microphone, so I was lost as to which headset to buy among the dozens out there.
Well, I was in a Best Buy store looking at their very limited selection of head sets and microphones, when I saw this headset, one that was specifically designed for laptops and that had a carrying case. As I had just recently bought a laptop, and most of my work was going to be done in different locations, the portability factor was a big plus. However, I wouldn't have bought it if the sales associate hadn't told me that I could return it within 30 days if I didn't like it. Anyway, I bought it.
Pros: - Works great with the voice recognition software that I use (high accuracy) - VERY comfortable. I could wear these things indefinitely if I needed to. - I can use it to listen to my mp3 player because it has a 3.5 mm jack (good sound quality). - The cord is light, unlike the gargantuan cord on the USB headset I used previously. - They look pretty cool, although I won't be caught wearing them on the street to listen to my mp3 player (It would be awesome if you could remove the microphone for this purpose, as long as it wouldn't compromise the quality of the sound input). - The carrying case has a pretty low profile in my back pack and is very sturdy. - They seem to be well made - they haven't broken on me yet (1 month of heavy use). - In-line microphone mute and volume control. - Comes with a USB adapter, but I haven't used it.
Cons: - There really isn't anything wrong with them, but I would it love if the microphone could detach. Then they would be excellent headphones, too.
I've been pleased with probably everything I've gotten from Logitech.
What's great about it: Comfortable, Microphone Works Well with VR, Good Sound Quality
