One of the best shooters I have played. Although this game features no online game play, users will still have plenty of game time with the expansive levels. Many weapon, special power, and gameplay upgrades will keep you entertained for weeks, not hours! I highly recomend this game.

2K Games is making astounding strides in the last few games first with the darkness and now with bioshock. This game sports one of the best graphic engines i've seen since gears of war, the story has it's moments where you're wondering what your actual purpose is but the gameplay will easily make you forget that. the enemy a.i. will scare the pants off of you as enemies never stay in the same place twice. You have a bunch of weapons at your disposal from pistols to your own body with the ability to "splice" yourself to give yourself some crazy powers. Aside from all of this there's still the ability to "hack" items throughout the landscape to give all types of advantages, and then there's the infamous "big daddies" and how you decide to deal with them, if at all will change he overall gameplay and story outcome. This is a definite buy....Until halo 3.

This is a great game and I would recommend this game to anyone with an xbox 360. The only thing that sets this game back is the fact that there is no online play or multiplayer mode.

This game is a graphical masterpiece, almost as good as Gears of War in the graphics department. It was a little less gory than Gears, but not by much...at least you or the enemies didn't explode into pieces in this game. This game is insane because you can both do magic (or plasmids, as they are called in the game) and use normal weapons as well. This game is a little difficult at first on normal mode, because you are forever running out of everything! However, the game actually gets easier as you go along, and I beat the last boss on the first try. I actually think I didn't die for the whole last level. The music is great too, where else are you going to shoot enemies and do magic to the Nutcracker Suite or Bobby Darin? The only major drawback is that there is no multiplayer, but it is still an awesome game.

This game is a masterpiece. There is no other way to describe it. Some will say there is not enough action or the lack of a great multiplayer experience brings it down but this game is not like the others. This game begs you to play late at night with the lights off and your surround sound system cranked. It begs you to search every corner of Rapture for hidden treasures and hidden horrors. More than ever it begs you to try and sort out whats really going on in this underwater utopia. You will be engrosed, you will be awed, you will never want to leave. Don't get me wrong, there is some amazing action sequences in this game but from the opening moments its the story and the "whats around the corner" feel that truly makes this game great.
The environment all around you is almost fully interactive leaving nothing that can't be blown up or scourged to find loot and items that ultimately help you with upgrades, mods, health kits, ammunition, you name it.

I knew this game was going to be a good game before I even bought it. Now that I've bought it and played it, I have to admit that it exceeded my expectations. With weapons upgrades, to the envirnment and its denizens, and the special ability to interact with just about everything and in different ways (i.e. destroying or hacking turrets, etc), all I can say is that this game is totally worth it.

A great game to pass the time till Halo 3. The plasmids are a very cool addition to the game and using them can be the difference. I love the telekinesis plasmid, picking up a cash register and throwing it at an enemy nevers gets old!

This is a worthwhile buy for any video gamer. Bioshock is a underwater city called Rapture. You roam the city looking for plasmids, items you can use to shock, burn, or manipulate your enemy's in some way, There is a lot of different types of games. The game makes you think, yet it is easy to get into. The game has an open feeling yet you follow the path to figure out what is going to happen, the strong storyline keeps you into the game. You start out thinking one thing, then it keeps twisting in the game to make you wonder what is going to happen next. Overall this game is worth owning. Would you kindly buy this game?
