Poor design--excessively wide

What should have been a simple solution (convert VGA connection from my monitor to DVI at the video card) was made difficult due to the connector's design. The plastic extends out to points on the side, unnecessarily wide. It would not fit next to the other DVI plug going to my video card. I had to return it and get a VGA to DVI cable. If you will only be using it for 1 monitor, it may not matter

This device made it possible to connect my newer PC to my TV in order to use the TV as a monitor. I did have to cut off a very small piece of the black rubber/vinyl covering on the housing at one tip in order to fully plug it in beside another plug, but that may be just due to the design of my PC. Otherwise, the device worked fine and I am very pleased with it. It allowed me to connect new technology to older technology for a very reasonable cost.
