Low price & ease of use = get more than one

I have two identical units to provide two angles when documenting concerts (classical music). They are adequate, small and reliable. The image is more than satisfactory for documentation -- quite good in bright light -- and the color is consistent between the two. The best part is that, when fully charged, they will run two hours unattended on the batteries supplied -- and charging is fast via the USB connector.
The unit has a standard tripod fitting, a built-in lens cover (with a warning if you forget to open it), and the typical array of features (anti-shake, face detection, etc.). Using the manual setups under controlled lighting has very nice results for an inexpensive camera.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight

I'm a dinosaur from broadcast (ESPN Dallas 1980's.)
I worked with 3-tube, and later 4-chip pro cams, and I like all the manual control I can get, so I'm never Truly Happy with consumer stuff, However, this is the coolest little camcorder I've found for the price!
For me, the biggest bang for the buck is the 52x optical zoom. It reaches out there and gets you the shot!
unlike digital zoom, which gets grainy and pixel distorted, optical zoom gets the close-up in focus! (FYI, the big boy cams of my era could only muster 15x zoom)
The downside of this much magnification:
1. Zoom loves lots of light
2. The slightest jitter looks like an earthquake (the on board image stabilizer can't compensate for this) You'll need a good tripod!
3. auto focus can freak out at high zoom, so manual focus is the way to go!
Of course I love all the manual overrides this baby offers.
I would have preferred a user's manual in the box, but the pdf is cool too.
I'm still learning all the features of this camera has to offer!
So far, i'm very impressed!

Before I made the final decision to buy this camcorder, I searched long and hard through a variety of online and televised reviews; most of the reviewers rated it good to excellent, although some had issues that were, in my opinion, minor or at least, correctable. For example, a few complained that the sound was low or difficult to hear during camcorder playback; that's true during the camcorder playback, to some extent, but everything is ok with the sound during playback on my TV or my computer - I just turn the volume up a little. Bottom line: I'm completely in love with this beautiful, workable, affordable camcorder because everything works well, and the photo and video functions are easy to understand and a breeze to operate - as advertised.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, uncomplicated
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product is difficult to operate

The small, limited instruction book that came with the camera lacks clarity. While attempting to operate the camera, I find that following the limited instructions does not achieve the desired result.
It is very confusing.
For instance, when I open the LCD screen and press the power button, the standby screen appears and pressing the control arrows (which are too small and difficult to operate) nothing happens.
I need a tutorial from Samsung.
Please help!

The F90BN is held with great control and ease, in the palm of my hand. The control buttons couldn't be better located for ease of access. I was amazed at the sharpness of still pictures and videos.

This small handheld camcorder is lightweight, attractive and easy to use. I would have given 5 stars all the way except for the fact it only records in 720P at the high end. A nice touch would have been to add an external mike hook up as the built in mike is extremely sensitive. The optical zoom of 52X is awesome and would highly recommend the use of a tripod when using full zoom. This is a great cam if you use You Tube. For the price point this cam beats the competition hands down.

Cons: no 1080p

I am totally disgusted with this product.
For starters, the Quick Start Guide is virtually useless. It is so small I cannot read it. In addition, the guides raise more questions than they answer.
And, as far as I can tell (with the utterly pathetic guide supplied), I need to have a memory card (and an adapter??) before I can even use this product. It is not useable out-of-the-box.
Would I recommend this product to anyone else? That’s a definite NO.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
