Excellent image quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a photographer I use this as a second screen. I've owned it for over 4 years now and I've had no problems with the monitor or the stand, having changed/rearranged the room several times it's been moved a fair amount in its lifetime and it works perfectly.
Pros: Performance, Quality, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stand is so cheap quality, everything is nice with design, how design people think this cheap quality stand will withstand the weight and angular motion of this monitor... mine already broken....
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Excellent screen, but fragile stand

I only had this monitor for around a year and a half before the monitor's stand randomly snapped. I never moved it or put more weight, other than the monitor itself, onto the stand.Luckily no damage to the screen happened (that I can tell so far) when the stand broke and the panel fell off.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

very sharp

I wanted a large monitor for my new computer and this one seemed to be the best bang for the buck. and so far it is. The only issue i have is with the on off button and for that matter the other ones as well. they are to sensitive. if you bump them even very slightly the monitor shuts off. my speaker volume control is right under the power button. but other than that it is a great screen that is very sharp. and the computer set it all up automatically.

Bright, clear, great

This 27" monitor has a great angle for viewing, bright, sharp clear.
I work at home and look at it all day--what a difference from my 19" Viewsonic. The form factor is very slim and unassuming--no giant bezel to deal with.
Features for dollars it cannot be beat--I looked at them all, and this LG was the best.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

A very nice and decent screen. But the base of the screen is very bad. It collapsed buy itself. not ever moved and properly set up have been done. I can not find a base to replace it. This is bad for you LG, you made a perfect screen and you decide to make a budget of the base? Imagine my face when I saw the screen collapsing..

Not worth the money

Although the picture quality is pretty good the product is not worth how much it costs. The base is a fairly thin plastic and can break very easily. One the neck of the base is attached to the monitor it is almost impossible to remove. After having mine for about 6 months it broke for no reason. LG makes good products, this is just not one of them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
