IPS 27 inch monitor, HDMI advertising 1080p resolution but is NOT HDCP compliant so you cannot view Blu-Ray content. this was the last straw for me on this monitor. The hookups in the back are right below the VESA connection and they stick straight out instead of dropping down. Hooking this up to wall mount and desktop stands is very difficult because it does not give any room to connect and be flush. finding documentation regarding all the LG products cannot be found on their site and usually can only be found in 3rd party reviews.
It's too bad, this is a great looking monitor with an extremely small bezel but there are just too many issues with this company. And not enough time to research their diamond in the rough. no more LG for me.

This monitor is a very good and reasonably priced 27 " monitor.I am more than happy with the image quality. The monitor has all of the "bells and whistles" t00. I would definitely recommend this unit to friends.

This product uses only about a third of the electrical energy and generates only about a third as much heat as my older 28 inch monitor from another manufacturer. The LG monitor was easy to set up and it worked instantly. The picture resolution, clarity and quality is excellent. However, when I attempted to adjust the picture centering, color and contrast settings, I find the guide manual instructions on the provided CD less than clear and/or helpful.

Simple setup and easy cable attachment make this monitor fantastic. The picture is superb and no annoying lights shining in your eyes.

Excellent Monitor!!

I bought this monitor to replace the prior LG E2742V and I have to say that the 27EA63 needs more adjustments to get a nice color and quality image. With the LG E2742V the installation was fast but the main advantage of the 27EA63 it is the colors. Colors are amazing and also the brightness is not annoying. There is an improvement from the E2742V but not so great. I thought that the screen was going to look different and it is just a little improvement.

I bought this monitor after searching for the best. I love the clarity of the IPS technology -- the best picture I've ever seen. Highly recommend.

I really appreciate the larger screen and the ease of setting it up include adjustments. The slim look of the flat screen is a nice addition to my home office. Good value for the price.
