Good, but definitely needs to be hooked up digitally

I have this mounted over my bar in my home and it is directly linked to the cable provider, but not hooked up through a digital box, but rather a direct coaxial hookup. The picture is decent, but it could be much better I think. I know part of this is do to the hookup type, but I have another television from a different manufacture that far outperforms this one. It does what I need it to do and the wall mounting is a breeze and hooked through a surround sound through speakers flush mounted in the bar itself makes it a winner. I had a coupon which basically allowed me to buy it at half price and it was the only 1080 television with 120 hertz available in its size. If I do hook this to a digital box, I'm sure it will be much more impressive. The settings on this television are fantastic. I can't say that I have seen another that are quite as liberal. I do love that for sure.
We have a Samsung 42" in the den and it has performed great. We just purchased this 22" for the kitchen. The set up was easy and the picture and sound is excellent. We will remain a loyal Samsung customer.
I am playing the TV with one of the free digital antennas. Sound is extremely poor. I suppose it is the connection. I tried hooking headphone up to the back input but it is too small for a standard headphone jack. It was easy to make run. The HD looks pretty bad on the free digital connection. The plastic stand is probably the weakest part of this purchase.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, built in speakers, poor headphone input, some type of red light on the bottom that never go
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Picture & Easy Features

Was up and running out of box. Had my previous cables to hook up DVD-RW. Very easy with manual. Remote is great w/backlighting. Features are same as high-end models. Great on my sailboat (or would be for BR/den/small room). Can't beat the price!
My wife and I live in an area where cable TV is not available. We have an outside antenna to pick up signals. The Samsung TV that we purchased does an excellent job in making a good connection for signals. We can see about 35 channels and they are crystal clear. With our old TV we could only see about 4 channels and they were not clear. Thank you Samsung for a great TV.
Bought this Samsung 22" LED TV for a kitchen. This was the second Samsung TV we purchased since December. Bought a 40" HDTV and we were impressed with the sharp color and picture quality. So, buying another Samsung product was an easy decision for us. The 22" Samsung is a perfect fit for a kitchen. Picture quality is great for not being high definition.
