Sound Marvelous Sound

I gave up my last tv because of the sound quality and could not find a tv whose sound I liked.
I bought this thinking I would return it if the sound was poor, but the sound is GREAT.
This is a great tv in every respect besides the sound.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have three Samsung HD TV's, there is no comparison to other makers !!!! I am very picky in the quality of the picture and sound, Samsung won't let me be picky, everything is of highest quality!!

EXCELLENT SMALL TV

We needed to replace an older 19" bedroom TV in a wall cabinet, which restricted our size choices. This TV was a perfect size, and was a great choice. We have always had good luck with Samsung products, and hope this TV will continue to meet our expectations. The picture has good color resolution and crispness lacking in our older set. So far, we absolutely love the TV. The speaker quality is also better than expected.

Great features but horrible sound!

I bought this TV 4 months ago and it worked well in my kitchen...until recently when the sound started to randomly change volume to loud and then to soft (notwithstanding the usual increased volume for commercials). There is no combination of sound settings in the setup menu that will correct this problem. I suspect the sound board might be defective (I'm checking on warranty coverage) and if not, I will be disposing of the TV.
Pros: Lightweight, useful remote
Cons: Poor quality, poor sound
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
