Fails with the first paper jam

Purchased the ip7220 in March 2014. The first time it had a paper jam this finished off the print head and the printer is now junk.

CD printing options are restricted

They need to update the software used to design the cd covers. Its really restricted to where the image is place and how the cd can be designed

Canon Pixma printers suck

This printer never stays connected to wifi and the ink runs out after just a few uses. Totally frustrating and a waste of time and money

Missing Power Adapter

Can't say anything about the printer quality because it came missing the power adapter. Wonder how long it'll take and how much this item will cost me to get what was supposed to be included.
Cons: no power cord included in box as listed of content, having to order & likely pay for their neligence.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a good printer for the cost. It is nothing flashy, and even sounds a bit clunky, but it works well for my needs. I really like that it prints on two sides.

installation

I have not used the printer long enough to say anything about its speed, quality, etc. All I have done is install it, and that was a real pain. I had to go through the install procedure at least half a dozen times before it worked. I have no idea what the problem was or why it finally succeeded, but it was a real bear. I hope it functions better than it installed.

Cheapest piece of garbage you will ever buy. Run away from this printer, it is terrible in every way. Even if the store pays YOU to take it home...throw it away before it gets into your house.
I HATE this printer.
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Large Footprint, Difficult Setup, Low Quality Output, unreliable, Flimsy Construction, you get to print 10 pages before it needs ink
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
