Love this bluray player

This is our first blu ray player and we got one because my best friend got one. I love the online streaming feature and that it plays DVDs as well as blu rays that way we don't lose all the DVDs that we already own.
Pros: Features/Settings, Quality

Easy to use, great features

The BP330 comes in a small package, but has very good features. I purchased it mainly to access stored video files on my computer. It was easy to configure for WIFI and connecting to the TV. The included software worked great on the computer for serving off the files.
Pros: Excellent array of supported video file types it will play natively. The picture quality was much better than expected considering the source was not HD!
Cons: WIFI reception was average. Experienced some slow downs (pauses in playback), which does not occur with WIFI connection to my TV (unfortunately, the TV won't support needed video file types). Connecting to the USB port worked very well when the WIFI slowdown was too impacting.
Quality/support: I have had several LG products and have never experienced a problem.....until now that is. The unit worked fantastic for about one month before it would not fully boot up. It was a little challenging to contact support (high wait times). Used online chat with support, which was a great experienced. The return information was promptly sent and the turn around time for returning back to me was excellent. Although you wish to have a perfect item, it is good to know support is responsive when it is not.
Overall, it is great for playing media files and a good value for the money. Getting a defective item was counter to my experience with LG products, but it happens. I anticipate not having any issues with the replacement. I'll write an updated review if experience is otherwise.
Would I recommend? Yes.

We purchased three of these (one for each kids room). They absolutely love them, these devices are easy to use, the wifi works great.

Excellent basic blu-ray

This is an excellent basic Blu-ray player with all the "bells and whistles" to either upgrade a non-smart tv into one or to compliment your existing smart tv. That is to say, if your current tv is NOT a smart tv, this addition will allow you to use it as one via its features such as vudu, Netflix and its web capabilities. If your just adding it to your smart tv its features allow you to play Blu-ray,non-blu-ray and music discs.

This blu-ray player has been nothing but excellent. It is very easy to set up and use, and playback of blu-rays and other media is smooth and in excellent quality. The built-in apps such as YouTube and Netflix also work very well, even better than the equivalent apps on my television. The only complaint I would have is that there are no other apps to download, or support for other streaming websites such as Twitch, but that is a minor thing. Overall an excellent device that was more than its money's worth.
