Awesome Sound!!

This was my 3rd sound bar in 3 days... And without a doubt, the Bose Cinimate 15 sounds 10 times better than the other 2 I got, and I couldn't even program my directv remote.! Love the remote that comes with the Bose system!! Well done Bose!!!

I have replaced my 5.1 home theatre with this, its very good but I don't know the dialogues are with very low voice when I try to increase volume then bass will be loud, please can any one suggest me is this normal on this.

Not too shabby

The acoustics in my bedroom are horrible. The speakers on my 60" Sharp 3D television stinks in that room. Rather than go full 5.1 surround, I figured a stereo sound bar might be the easiest to install. This system was extremely easy to install and get working. The sound in the room is night and day different over the stock television audio.
I do not like having to turn it on and off manually when my TV is on/off. I use it with Tivo, so I refuse to use the Universal remote that the Bose comes with. While the Universal remote works perfectly fine with my Tivo and TV, I refuse to use anything but the Tivo remote. If you are a Tivo user like myself, you will understand. If the Bose unit was smart enough to turn itself on and off by detecting the input from my TV, it would get 5 stars from me. If my TV is off, does it generate a fiber optic signal? I am assuming it turns off when the TV turns off... it would be nice if the Bose would turn off too.
For now, I have disabled the auto-off feature and leave the thing on 24/7.

Sound is terrific

We're happy with the sound of the product. My only complaint so far is that the remote is not backlit, very hard to deal with in the dim light of a TV room; I get irritated every time I want to change something. This one simple fix would make this a great sound bar and I would have given it 5 stars.
I liked mine so well, I bought one for a friend. And the remote is the best Universal remote I have seen. Perfect. Enough said!

Great Sound, not the best compatibility

Hello I just bought this cinemate 15. The sound is great but the problem is with the remote control. 1. I first could coinfigure my TV, following the very clear instructions. 2. I need to configure my DirecTV, that's when I started looking in the codes list that cames with manuals and it does not appear. I looked in the website and dowonload the PDF files that supposed to be updated. 3. There was a code for DirecTV, the 1988, the curious thing is that it is not recognized by the remote control.
I would be pleased if I can received any assistance from Bose.

Certain DirecTV boxes are defaulted to receive a radio frequency remote signal instead of the infrared signal that the Cinemate universal remote sends. This setting can be changed on the satellite box and our product specialists have experience with changing this setting and programming our remote properly.
