Very creepy movie make you never wanna go into the woods or caves again! Great story and creepy animals. Gonna scare the heck outta you!!

One of the best horror films.

This is one of the greatest horror films made its not just gore all the time like others. It has an actual plot not just some guy running around killing people. The ending is unexpected and the music adds a bit of a dramatic effect. The monsters look real, and there arent many faults you can find in it. All around its a good movie.
What's great about it: great plot, very suspenseful, great ending, and good music.
What's not so great: its underrated, and my favorite character dies
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved it so much on DVD had to get it on Blu-ray. Great movie looking forward to the sequel and the whole cast is returning got a great deal for ten dollars.
What's great about it: Love horror and it is very dark and sets a good horror mood
What's not so great: Not much classic horror

Great acting, plot, and "costume" design. After you have seen it, you'll agree! THis movie will have you squirming and jumping out of your seat. You have to get this movie!!!! Starts out like it may just be a "Chick Flick", but that is only to set you up for the carnage that will follow in the cave. I'll watch this again in a few months, say Halloween, it's that good!!
What's great about it: Great acting, plot, and "costume" design. After you have seen it, you'll agree!
What's not so great: Nothing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of my favorite horror movies of all time!

This was by far the BEST horror film of 2006. I remember seeing this movie during commercials and such but for whatever reason I never got to see it on the big screen. So for Halloween 2007 I ended up buying this movie to watch on one of my scary movie nights and hands down not only me but my entire group of friends applauded this fantastic piece of horror that we had just witnessed. Director Neil Marshall used his surroundings well placing the scary bits of horror that will make you jump out of seat with speed and economy. The no-name actors did an excellent job of feeling like they actually cared for each other, a sister-hood as you must that was going to be in this till the end. I'm not going to go into the story and what happens all I need to tell you is that the atmosphere and story that is put forth by Marshall and cinematographer Sam McCurdy is awesome. Will you be scared, YES! Will you be talking about this movie tomorrow, YES! Will you think twice before you go cave dwelling, if you don't say YES then you have more balls than me! A great piece of horror that any fan of the genre should own and a perfect movie to watch during the Halloween season. I highly recommend it, 5 stars!
What's great about it: Awesome kick-as* horror movie with characters you ACTUALLY care about!
What's not so great: No A list actors/actresses which makes the average movie goer skip this film, the ending might turn off horror purists
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT Horror Movie!
Glad I heard about it. It's supposed to be the original "paranormal activity" - a successful low-budget horror movie.. GREAT!!!
Pleasantly surprised. the movie was perfect!
well done!
It really takes you there - you feel what they're feeling
claustrophobic, betrayed, angry, and scared!!!
great characters - have to pay attention a bit for the small story line of betrayal... starts with a bang and leaves with a bang.. MORE MORE MORE!!!
What's great about it: Starts and ends with a bang!!
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

This movie is one of my all time favorite horror movies. From start to finish you will be very uneasy and feel on edge. If you have a fear of tight places the cave entry scenes will keep you up at night alone. This movie was perfectly made and deserves tons of respect from all horror fans. 3 tips for watching this movie.
1. Try to have all the lights out.
2. If you can watch with surround sound then do it.
3. The less you know about the movie the better.
Enjoy!

This movie is thoroughly entertaining throughout the whole movie. Horror/Thriller movies are usually unsuccessful nowadays, which made me appreciate this movie even more. If you are claustrophobic, or hate darkness, this movie will creep you out even more. At least rent this movie if you aren't thinking about buying it.
What's great about it: Scary
