Nice camera

I purchased this in Dec of 2015 and I didn't know it at the time but it was defective. Whenever I would hold my finger down to take many pictures at a time it would start out taking them fast and then get slower and slower and then to the point I would have to stop taking the pictures. I'm sending it in for repair and hope that will help. This is a nice camera but I don't know if I will ever master it. I have been taking pictures for over 40 years with all types of point and shoot cameras but this camera I can take pictures, with the same setting, and one will turn out good and the other one is terrible. I don't know what the problem is. I have researched the settings for different types of pictures and I still can't master it. I would recommend this camera to someone that wants to spend ALL their time trying to master it.

Camera body and lens failed after 3 uses. Out of warranty and can no longer use.

No Back Button Focus

I was so disappointed to discover that there is no back button focus on the T8i. If I had known, I would never have purchased this camera. It never crossed my mind that this feature would be deleted.
