Wireless Woofer is Un Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had for several months then subwoofer issues began loosing connection signal. Would not buy LG again. Going to purchase hardwire woofer connection only

sound quality is decent. at least until you play a game with a lot of noise like engine noise in forza... then its starts too buzz and rattle.
the remote refuses too control my LG TV. and the TV remote wont control the bar.
oh, and the sub-woofer started to make a repeating BOOF noise for a few min before i finally figured out what the noise was coming from, and realized it was smoking out the hole in the front like a Cheech and Chong re-run... so no thanks, wont be buying it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good when it worked!!!!

This soundbar is three years old and the bluetooth subwoofer has stopped working! I've tried everything and even a technician couldn't get it to work. Now just have the soundbar which is no better on it's own than the tv speakers. Equipment like this shouldn't last only three years. Have no other realistic option other than to buy another soundbar, not LG of course! I'm sure some companies inbuild components with a life expectancy just exceeding the woefully inadequate warranty period of one year. Avoid LG soundbars in my very limited experience.

great for the hearing impaired

Dear LG, My husband and I needed a new T.V. When we went shopping for our new T.V. we ask the sales rep. for his personal opinion. Thankfully he recommended LG products. We purchased a 55-inch flat screen LED T.V. We couldn't be happier. The picture quality is amazing.
We also purchased an LG Sound Bar model # NB353OA, as well. For years we have put up with the daunting task of having to change the volume between the program and the commercials.
My husband has lost a lot of his hearing in both ears, one worse than the other, caused from his work environment. So many programs, shows and movies on T.V. have a lot of background, music, and/or sound, which sometimes makes it very difficult to hear what is being said. Because of the multiple sound fields available on the LG sound bar, especially the "CLRVOICE" mode, he is able to easily hear and enjoy watching his favorite T.V. programs and shows. I can't express to you how much more enjoyable it is for both of us to watch T.V. now.
As for me, I really enjoy the "UPSCALER and LOUDNESS" modes, especially when listening to my Pandora satellite radio.
I realize there's a huge difference between, being hard-of-hearing, and being deaf. My husband isn't deaf but extremely hard-of-hearing. Your product; the LG sound bar, has allowed my husband to once again be able to really enjoy watching T.V. and no longer needs to ask me what is being said.
When purchasing the LG sound bar our salesman made no mention to us that the sound bar had so many pre-set surround sound fields, nor what sound fields are. It may be something your sales representatives might want to mention, to future customers, especially those with hearing difficulties. I know if our salesman had of mention sound fields, and explained what they were, it would have been a greater buying incentive, especially for my husband.

I searched and serched for a sound system with good sound and little to no wiring. After reading reviews, I was convinced about this product. There were some mixed reveiws and some complaints were ridiculous... so I decided to give it a shot and im glad i did! the sound quality is crisp and clear! works well functionality and hook up is a no brainer! I love the upscaler sound...it adds a little more ump to the bass! I recommend this product! A freind is plannig on getting one after liking the look and sound! GO FOR IT! THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING! its stylish, has a great look, good quality and the USB connection gives me acces to my songs on my tablet or phone! im a happy customer!

Awesome wireless solution

I was shopping for a minimal footprint, minimal wires sound system for my new LG smart TV... read several reviews in print and on line and then listened to one in the store. I love the sound solution. It is perfect for the space I have in my home, the wireless connection works beautifully and was easy to set up. the ability to connect my iPad and iTouch via bluetooth was a very pleasant bonus. Delighted with the product

It really sounds magnificently. Although I had to return my first LG sound bar to a store because of sound defect and squeaking noises, I have been believing the quality of LG products are much superior than other famous brands. So I decided to order another one and it was a right decision.

I needed better sound than what the TV provided. This sound bar does that, plus it adds a nice bass sound that wasn't present with the TV speakers. Easy to set up. Easy to use.
