This is a great movie and I would have given it 4.5 out of 5 if they'd let me. The movie is at times tough to follow but if you pay attention you should be ok. I've seen it twice now since I bought it and its one of those movies you have to watch a few times to understand everything. If you like magic you should stop reading this review now and just buy it. If you like good movies you should buy it too!
What's great about it: Amazing twists and turns; great acting
What's not so great: Tough to follow at times - really need to pay attention

i Loved this movie . everything about it was good. the acting was awsome, and the plot wow was that a good choice for this movie . he did an amazing job. i would highly recomend this movie to anyone because its fun and enjoyable to watch !!!!!

This is a great movie, my wife and I loved it! It's very intriguing and very entertaining. Everyone I know loved this movie, including everyone on here that did reviews, (except one person, there's always that one person.) This movie has a great plot, great acting, great suspense, and a great ending. I highly recommend it! Also, if you like this movie, I recommend The Illusionist and Lord of Illusions.
What's great about it: Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman.
What's not so great: Couldn't find anything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very well made movie! Great cast! Great director! You really must pay attention to this move. It tends to swicth from past to present rather quickly at times, so you must watch it a second time, but hey! why not?! it's a really great movie !!!

I love this film. It adds all the elements I personally love, intrigue, excitement, comedy, struggles with love/career/commitment. Great cast, role portrayals are spot on, lots of mystery and misdirection. The exact things a magician-based movie should have!
I have now bought this film twice! (the first time on DVD)
