Unable to clearly see and read the operations pane

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not buy this microwave. We have to keep a flashlight on the shelf of the microwave to shine on the panel so we can read it. Very difficult to read. It is too dark and there is no contrast between the black plastic and the numbers and options.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Must wear a miner's lamp to see keypad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, it warms food very well...once you turn on all the kitchen lights to see the keypad. We now have a small flashlight on top of the countertop microwave anytime you need to push a button on a BLACK keypad.
And yes, the plastic wrap is still sticking out around the door frame because I did not want to scratch the finish while removing it with my fingernails. WHY sticky plastic wrap?
I liked the rounded inside for easier cleaning. Door had a nice solid CLICK. End of cycle beeps 4x...then reminds you in a few minutes 4x more. Wish I could turn the number of beeps down to ONE.

Noisy and slippery

Great, until it stopped working

This worked great until it started making strange sounds and stopped working after using it for only 3.5 years. I'm sad because fixing it costs more than buying a new microwave, and microwaves should last for up to 10 years.

I really like the easy clean feature which has the rounded corners. The keypad is large and legible.

This is the second LG microwave that I have bought. The price was great. I had another brand that I found hard to operate without the directions. Will not buy another brand.

We replaced our microwave of 7 years with this unit, and were pleasantly surprised with all the features for the price. I would highly recommend this microwave to anyone.

Very nice counter top unit, quiet & efficient .ONLY criticism is that the numbers on the touch pad are small and hard to see unless a light is shinning on them. The numbers & pad could be larger or backlit for easier use.
