glass is EXTREMELY HIGHLY REFLECTIVE

typical 1200 watt microwave. inside is WAY too dark,, the light inside is very dim as a result. the front glass is WAY HIGHLY REFLECTIVE, LIKE A MIRROR. BIG DRAWBACK. when I purchased I didn't think that it would be that bad, but it was. should have returned it. display is hard to see unless you are at a certain angle to view.
LG - you could have done a much better job. Did you not notice these drawbacks???
SORRY I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heats Food Up Really Fast!

I bought this microwave for our apartment that my son, a friend of ours & myself have moved into & it heats food up really fast. The inside is very easy to clean & is a perfect size for our minimum counter space apartment... it's up on top of the refrigerator!!!
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings

Overall, I recommend this microwave. Looks nice, easy to use, easy to clean, has everything I want (and as with almost all microwaves, far more than I really care about).
The first unit had a defective "thermistor" (or something) that caused it to either beep and go into error mode, or to spontaneously turn on the child lock.
LG support was easy to reach and helpful; the process is to buy another microwave and submit the original receipt/labels for reimbursement. Pretty easy, all things considered.
The second unit is working fine so far...
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

This oven has great features that make it easy to use. The only problem I have had is that it is hard to read the settings at night.

We recently had to replace our microwave, which didn't make me very happy since it wasn't all that old. It was the third one of this particular brand, and it will be the last. The first one lasted for several years, so I wasn't hesitant to replace it with another one. The last two barely made it through the warranty period before they died, which prompted me to shop for something better. I can't believe the difference in the quality that the LG microwave had over the old one. It is a more solid unit and is much quieter. The panel is easy to use which made it very simple to operate this microwave. We are very pleased with the overall quality and performance and highly recommend this microwave.

This product failed in lest than 9 months. Pressed button to open door and system went blank. Can't get it to function. Trouble shooting instructions don't help

I really enjoy using this microwave. One of the best features I like is not having to enter amounts, the machine senses by weight and automatically sets the appropriate time. Would definitely recommend this microwave to anyone.
