This exceptionally good documentary likely would have won the Academy Award, but for its unlucky timing to be nominated against the juggernaut of Al Gore in Hollywood. There are countless reviews of this film and I encourage you to read a few of them - after viewing the film if you prefer. I don't want to give it away but this film is worth every penny and should be seen by a lot of people, no matter what their beliefs. I recommend Jesus Camp 100%.
What's great about it: Extraordinary footage of what goes on with these kids at "Jesus Camp." It's rather unbelievable.
What's not so great: Contrasting scenes with radio guy aren't needed. The camp footage speaks for itself.

Jesus Camp is certain to frustrate most viewers…regardless of your religious views. Despite this tendency, it is certainly worth your while to get an insight, albeit slanted, into a small segment of Christianity. As a Christian I found myself so angry at points that this portrayal becomes the typecast into which all Evangelicals seem to be painted. Others will certainly be offended by their conversion tactics (military implications intended) and rightist politics. I would recommend this film to many with the inclusion that this is not mainstream Evangelicalism.
