What's great about it: easily transferable to multipule vehicles
What's not so great: moves on very rough dirt roads
I haven't been pleasedwith the stick on versions; in heated temp.
they get lose and fall off. This new style is so much better.

What's great about it: It works
I drive a Yukon and it has a steep slope from the dash down to the windshield glass. I was afraid it wouldn't hold firm on that incline. Well, it does great. I don't drive like a NASCAR racer, but have been known to take a corner here and there and start and stop quickly. It hasn't move yet!!

What's great about it: Secure dashboard mount; easily stowed out of site.
Quite pleased with the GPS mount. Unit stays securely in place on the dash during normal driving.
* Easy to install and remove GPS unit for secure storage.
* Have one GPS unit that move between 3 cars -- this mount makes the transition easy.
* Take the mount with me when traveling for easy use in rental cars; Mount easily disassembles and fits compactly in my suitcase.

What's great about it: East to set up, functional, flexible
The perfect option if you do not want to use a suction cup mount to hold your GPS in place. I really like mine and it makes it easy to move it from car to car. Very stable & secure.

What's great about it: Can position your GPS anywhere you want on the dash

Everybody I talked to loved their bean bag mount. I was worried about it slipping around the dash but it dosen't happen. Salesman said you'd have to roll your car to get it to slip off & after a month using it I agree. I recommend it to anyone who uses a GPS.

Tried it based on other users reviews. Found it to be the best product for ease of setup,and effectiveness. It has a weighted base,and the bottom is of non-skid material. Easily moves from dashboard to console giving you options on where to set it up.

What's great about it: Does what it is supposed to do
I got this to use in my 2012 Elantra. It sits well on the dashboard and doesn't slip off when I make a turn. The whole thing fits in my glovebox when not in use.

What's great about it: Its uniqueness.
I purchased for my wife for her Garmin. She loves it! She likes the way it sets on her dash in her car making her GPS accessible to her in a more appropriate way than a window mount.

I drive a truck and this works perfectly. Stays in place. I never liked the suction cup attachment, always fell off of my glass.

What's great about it: best way to mount GPS in our cars
We had one of these for our first GPS and since we purchased another GPS needed this mount for our second car. Works great and looks fine. Really no complaints except rarely, if I make a sharp turn, it may slide off, but not a major problem--I just need to plan ahead more. Wish it didn't cost quite as much as it does, but I still recommend this--it works well.

What's great about it: Easy to use
The Window Suction holder that came with my Garmin worked fine but I hated the ring that it left on my glass whenever I removed it. Evenutally it stopped working, no longer held to the window if I hit a bump. I went to the store to actually just buy a replacement however they were out of them so I bought the dashboard friction mount. LOVE IT!!!!! There's nothing to leave a mark on the interior of my car. It works PERFECTLY...no matter how big the bump, how fast the turn, it never moves. Had I know this was so wonderful I would have bought it from the get-go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: Unit is too large to store in my console storage compartment.
Works great as a GPS holder. Grips my dash and does not slide,Easy to position on dash for best viewing without blocking view thru windshield. When removed it leaves no indication behind unlike suction cup mounts. My car has no glove box the only storage is in the center console.The mount is too large to store in the console storage compartment, If your car has a large glove box this unit with GPS attached should fit.

What's great about it: Won't slip on dash easier to use than suction cup mount
What's not so great: So far I have't found anything negative about it
I wondered if it would work on my buick slanted dash. It has worked
with no slipping even on sharp curves or hard stops. It is handy
not to have to stretch to the windshield to reach my gps device.

This mount won't stay in place on the dash of my car (a 2012 Fusion). Acceleration, braking or sharp turns will send sliding across the dash or onto the floor. It will be returned to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
