"Just what I needed"!

It's only been a couple of days since we bought our microwave, but it does what we
need it to do. It looks great in our kitchen, above the new stove. I really like the black finish. It is a nice change.

10 years and going strong

We just passed our 10 year mark on this microwave. I have to say, it has held up very well to the abuse and is still running like a champ! Noisy, yes...but for what we paid for it it is not too bad of a compromise, plus it is not like it is running all day long. The only drawback I really see is the fan does not suck up that much air for as loud as it is. But again, not a bad compromise for the price. This microwave was installed new in a new home, by me and I do not regret going with a model with less features than others in the higher price range. The stainless finish is beautiful looking and matches our decor well. The inside is fairly easy to clean with a few troublesome nooks and crannies. We clean the filters on a regular basis, so it is not too hard of a job(I have seen some vents that have never been cleaned and it is pretty gross). All in all, a great unit and frankly, I'm a little surprised how dependable it has been...as long as general maintenance is done on a regular basis.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Faulty microwave

Microwave died after 33 days. Very disappointed. Most probably will never purchase GE product again.

This microwave was already installed in a home I purchased 1.5 years ago. I was certain it was a quality model just by the GE name alone. I have not been disappointed. It heats quickly and evenly. Perfect for my needs.
