Way, Way too loud. Must be why they discontinued.

This was a Christmas gift last year and I have loathed it ever since. You cannot even hear a telephone ring with it running if you are in the kitchen. Poor quality as well. The door is warped and cracked from rubbing against another part.

This microwave was manufactured in 2009 and placed in my new home. Last week it gave me unusual beeps and now says keypad may have a short. And started to turn on when i wasn't even near it. Unplugged it and now do not trust to turn it back on. I remember the older models lasting more than the five years this one lasted. Is it worth fixing?

I bought this microwave 3 years ago, and while it was working it was fine. Not fantastic but it got the job done. But after 3 years one of the switches in the door latch stopped functioning. The microwave would still light up and spin as though it was working but no heat would be generated. At first I found that making sure the door had seated properly by pushing up on it for a second would fix the issue and the entire cycle would run without a problem. Then after a week or so I had to hold pressure on the door to activate the switch. I took the control panel off to get a look and could see that the middle door switch (of 3) was not being contacted by the door latch because over time the plastic housing had bent upwards allowing some contact but not enough to allow the magnetron to engage. I tried adjusting the housing and got another 2 weeks out of it, but at this point I am tired of fighting with it.

this microwave was already installed by my builder in my new house when I bought it. I have since replaced the diode, magnetron and now looking to replace the microwave itself as it has caught fire from the inside and burned through the outside.

14 Years Later & Running Strong

I bought this microwave in 2007 and it's now the end of 2021 and after 14 yrs it's still runs great. The only issue I have now is the handle has just come apart and has broken down from within the inside. I am definitely looking to buy this one again, knowing it was a fantastic purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace our old model. Bought the 'same' because it would fit. Not so - the measurements do not include the dip in the door for aesthetic purposes. Apparently in an attempt to update the look, a dip was added to the door. In the space we have, it makes a difference. The door is also much lighter than the previous model. We had concern that we would 'damage' it just shutting it at the beginning. Overall, a bit disappointed with the cheapening of the product.
