some good features but noisy

We bought this and had it installed a few days ago. I know the product well because I have the same in another home. It has several good features but the vent fan is so noisy -- noisier than my previous microwave-- that all conversation will stop when it is in use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this microwave 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. This is my first "over the range" type microwave and I am wondering why I have not done this earlier. I have owned many GE products in the past and I am always please with their longevity and value for the money spent. Installation was a bit more time consuming than I expected but then again I am used to just "plopping" a new microwave on the counter and that's it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Microwave is burning after 2 years

I purchased this microwave a little less than 2 years ago and now when I try to use it it will not heat and fills my house with a terrible electrical burning smell. I'm afraid to try it again for it may catch fire. Very dangerous! Not impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
