Not a great microwave

We purchased this in 2009. Not a terrible buy because "ya get what ya pay for" and it was an inexpensive purchase. From day one it seemed to have hot and cold spots... things dont cook in the middle. Stainless front came apart from plastic and hangs away from main body. I have tried repeatedly to glue to no avail... always disattaches. Front window has slipped down...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible product, replaced switch in less than a year now and already needs another replacement switch in year 2. This is the second GE appliance that we have had a bad experience with.

Spacemaker Convection Micowave. Model j vm192 001

It was made in April 1990. I bought as a floor model from sears in 1994. I am still using it and its 2017. 23 years later. Never needed repairing. It just started acting up a little bit. Will replace it soon. Looking another one that will last just as long.

now it will run and light up but not heat ,as living by myself did not use it that much and then they no longer make this one ,so what am I too do can I still get partscan not recommend any more was great while it worked

Poor quality

We lived in our last house for 9 years. All the appliances just worked. At one point we replaced the dishwasher for a newer model but the old one was still working.
This house was built 5 years ago. All the appliances are GE and all have been nothing but trouble. This microwave was the last to go. Intermittently the vent fan will run for hours or days at a time. Sometimes it just turns on, other times it after a few seconds of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
